Hello to all the avid readers of this fanfiction. Since the story has reached the point where Nicholas begins training to develop his own Nen abilities, I'm leaving you here with a poll to choose the character's future Specialist ability (just one).
I'm aware that these abilities may be considered an altered copy of other abilities from Hunter x Hunter or other media, but it's difficult to think of Specialist abilities that are realistic, functional, and innovative, and I've done my best to achieve the most creative results possible.
Also, I have my personal preference on the list, but I want you, the fans, to be the ones who decide which kind of ability would best fit the story and the character.
• Save Point: Through a small daily ritual, Nicholas can mark a place and spot where he will return once in the event of being killed, retaining all of his memories.
• Dispelling: Nicholas can cancel the effects of another user's Nen regardless of strength or source. To use this ability, he must perform a long and complex ritual which involves several ingredients, so its application can be a bit difficult.
• Light In The Darkness: Those who swear immortal fealty to Kai, as Nicholas has done, will have the opportunity to increase the amount and output of their aura by completing a series of five missions of increasing difficulty. Once they have completed all five missions, they will gain a special ability. For a person start the mission guide, he/she must have trained and mastered the 4 principles of Nen under the tutelage of Kai, or someone Kai has entrusted to do so, and then swear eternal loyalty to Kai with Nicholas present. In the event that the individual betrays Kai in any way, he will suffer instant death and Nicholas will receive his/her ability bestowed (in case of having it) to be used once. The requirements for betrayal are stipulated by Nicholas, and he is aware of the location and status of any affected individual.
• Blessing Of The Double Mastery: Nicholas can perform a ritual that allows a person to achieve 100% proficiency in a Nen category other than their own. To perform it, Nicholas needs to draw a large hexagon reminiscent of the category chart on the ground, have the blood of a person with the desired category type (his own is not valid), and be present during the full moon (like Abengane ability more or less). The effect lasts for 28 days, until the next full moon arrives.
