[Countdown: One minute]

[Number of restarts: 30]

Nighttime in New York City.

At the pinnacle of the Empire State Building, atop the antenna tower.

Charlie came once again to this familiar place.

Indeed, it was still this place.

He was already too weary to complain.

Staring at the prompt before his eyes, the blue glow in Charlie's eyes flickered slightly.

Save the world, destroy the world—no time limit on the missions.

This time, the mission prompt was very perfunctory; apart from that, there was no other information.

Destroying the world would be easy, but saving it would be hard.

Yet he had no idea what kind of crisis this world would face.

Everything was unknown.

Although thirty restarts seemed like a lot, the difficulty of the missions would surely increase accordingly.

However, the "organizers" had actually classified him into the neutral team.

What did that mean?

An invincible Spider-Man doesn't seem like a good guy, right!?

Charlie curled his lip. The destruction team was full of people hostile to Spider-Man; in fact, he had no choice here.

The few guys in the neutral team weren't friendly either.

He was going to be targeted again this time.

Fortunately, Kingpin and Aleksei hadn't died, otherwise there'd be two more enemies now.

Continuing like this was no solution.

He needed to think of a way to completely "eliminate" the enemies in the Resurrection Match.

If he let these guys keep messing around in the Resurrection Match, in future matches he would face "all enemies under heaven."

This matter required careful planning. Without anyone cooperating, it would be very difficult to implement his plan.

In a flash of thought, the countdown ended.

The first step: Find old friends and then gather information.

Charlie did not leap down from the skyscraper.

He was waiting for someone.

Half an hour later, a metallic sound came from the iron door beneath the antenna tower. A Vibranium shield was thrown up first, and then a familiar figure appeared in Charlie's sight.

"Little Spider, you really died again."

Elderly Steve, seeing Charlie waiting here, looked thrilled.

In the last Resurrection Match, the two had agreed that as soon as they entered the Resurrection Match again, they would come here to meet first.

After all, Charlie had "descended" atop the Empire State Building more than once.

"I'm really happy to play the Resurrection Match with you again. I even suspect you purposely got yourself killed, just to have a chance encounter with me here."

Elderly Steve stepped forward and embraced Charlie, then suddenly recalled something and his smile faded.

"I have bad news."

"What is it?"

"Tony is missing."

"Missing?"

Charlie frowned, "You mean the Tony from your universe?"

Elderly Steve nodded, "Yes. After I was revived this time, I was only out for a minute before I saw Natasha. She dug me out in advance. I asked her a few questions, including about Tony."

His gaze was grave. "No one knows any news of Tony's revival. I'm not sure if he's hiding. After all, he once said he wanted to live a normal life."

Charlie stroked his chin, thinking: "That's off. Even if he wanted to hide and not be disturbed after revival, he would at least come to see you. After all, if you hadn't been revived, he'd have tried to save you."

Elderly Steve shook his head, "Maybe he still resents how I almost crippled him when we fought 1v1 back then."

Charlie: "..."

"Old man, since there's no time limit for the mission this round, how about I take you to see a doctor!"

"Why? In the Resurrection Match, I can maintain the peak state of this age, I'm not sick."

"Senile dementia isn't a disease; it's a curse."

"You rascal, your insults are too harsh."

"I'm already taking special care with my words for the elderly."

"Stop the nonsense. Tell me your plan this time. I've been assigned to the save team, you probably have too."

"Sorry, I'm currently on the neutral team. I might not be able to help you."

"Neutral team?"

Elderly Steve froze, "Your interface info and mine seem a bit different."

"I guessed as much." Charlie wasn't surprised.

Long ago, from his "teammates'" conversations, he'd discovered that not everyone saw the same info.

But Steve stared at Charlie, his expression strange.

"You don't seem like a friendly neighbor at all. A superhero should be assigned to the save team."

Charlie rolled his eyes, "Thanos's henchmen are also in the neutral team, how do you explain that?"

"Thanos's henchmen?" Elderly Steve frowned.

"Those guys are troublesome. If we can't recruit them to our side, they might decide the outcome this time."

Charlie wasn't too worried about that.

"Right now we don't even know what the world's crisis is. It's too early to discuss these things."

As he spoke, he looked down at the figure appearing below the antenna tower.

"Another Captain has arrived." He smiled slightly.

"Hi, we meet again."

Carter, holding a shield, greeted Elderly Steve.

She glanced at Charlie, "How did he know you'd be here?" she asked.

Charlie shrugged, "He guessed."

Evidently, they had arranged it beforehand as well.

Carter looked around, "Where's that Black Cat?"

Charlie shook his head, "That gal probably needs some time to gather herself. We'll have to wait a bit."

"Black Cat? You made an appointment with a cat?" Elderly Steve raised an eyebrow, "Is it the kind of cat that Nick Fury mentioned?"

Charlie explained, "No, she's human—Felicia Hardy, also on the save team."

"Does she have white hair, wearing a tight black suit, a lace eye mask, super sexy?" Elderly Steve asked again.

Carter was puzzled, "How do you know?"

"I think I see her."

Elderly Steve pointed toward the neon-lit city in the night, "Over there, she seems to be in trouble."

At this moment, his pupils emitted a faint glow, sparkling like sapphires in the darkness. This was clearly a reward he'd obtained in the last Resurrection Match.

Seeing this, Charlie casually tossed four spare web-shooters to the two of them.

"Great, Hawkeye Captain, you teach Captain Carter how to use these. I'll go check out the situation."

With that, he fired webs with both hands, using them as a slingshot to launch himself swiftly.

Below the antenna tower, Elderly Steve began teaching Carter how to use the web-shooters.

"First, we should carry our shields on our backs."

Carter: "..."

——

On the bustling city streets.

"Hahaha, white-haired Spider-Man, you're done for!!"

"Boom~"

Green tail flames streaked across the block. The demon laughed arrogantly, dropping pumpkin bombs along the way to bomb the streets.

"Boom!!"

"Ah! Run!!"

"What kind of monster is this—"

Car alarms blared one after another; flames burst continuously. Pedestrians fled in panic, while a black shadow using a grappling hook swung from place to place, disappearing into a dark alley in an instant.

"Damn Green Goblin, why is this guy here?"

Fleeing through the alley, Felicia looked grim. She still hadn't figured out what was going on.

Resurrection Match, saving the world—what a joke!

And I'm not Spider-Man!!

She cursed inwardly.

Spider-Man uses webs, she uses a grappling hook.

Completely different, okay!

"Boom~"

Lost in thought, a green flame suddenly swept over her head.

"Spider-Man, you can't escape."

Norman's evil eyes were filled with mockery. He casually tossed another pumpkin bomb.

"Boom!!"

Firelight burst out, the violent heatwave blasted Felicia through the air.

"Shit, that hurt…"

Felicia tumbled awkwardly onto a rooftop. Seeing the Green Goblin dive down toward her, she gritted her teeth and leaped toward a residential building.

The more complex the environment, the more advantageous for her.

Unfortunately, this was no problem for Norman.

"Boom boom boom!!"

Several pumpkin bombs fell, surging flames once again blasted Felicia away.

"What?"

Felicia crashed under a billboard on the rooftop, her face exceedingly grim.

"Boom"

Norman hovered before Felicia on his flying glider and tilted his head, laughing: "Hahaha, I've fought Spider-Man so many times, of course I know what you're trying to do.

Give it up, Spider-Man of this world, you're done."

"I'm not Spider-Man," Felicia explained coldly.

Norman snorted, "Anyone who can swing around is Spider-Man. I'm a cunning devil, you can't fool me."

As he spoke, a blade popped out from his wrist, gleaming coldly.

"I must admit, the Spider-Man of this world is a very beautiful woman. If you're not Spider-Man, I wouldn't mind making you Harry's mother."

He advanced step by step toward Felicia, cruel light shining in his eyes.

"Whoosh~"

In the next instant, webbing descended from above, binding Norman. Then a red-and-blue figure flashed down, landing before Norman's eyes.

"Sorry, I don't feel like calling her 'Auntie.'"

"Charlie, it's you again…" Norman's eyes widened.

Before he could finish, a fist the size of a sandbag slammed into him.

"Pow!!"

With immense force, metal crunched. After the sound of shattering, the green figure slid across the rooftop and crashed into a water tank.

"Splash—"

Water gushed down, Norman's head stuck into the tank, his body struggled briefly before going limp.

Destruction Team Member -1

Felicia stared blankly at the familiar figure's back.

"Spider-Man—no, it's you, Charlie Parker!"

Norman's shout allowed her to confirm that Charlie Parker in the participant list was Spider-Man.

The very Spider-Man she was familiar with!

Charlie turned around, his nano-mask retracting.

"Are you okay, little kitty?" he smiled.

Seeing that familiar face, Felicia was both shocked and filled with bitter amusement.

"I should have guessed it. 'Spider-Man's contact,' 'Captain Carter's relative,' all these were illusions. No wonder you kept trying to hide your identity before you died. So…"

She looked around, "So this is the secret of your resurrection." Hope began to shine in her eyes.

"If something happened to my father, could he also participate in the Resurrection Match?" she asked expectantly.

Charlie shrugged, "Sorry, I'm not sure."

"But at least it's not hopeless."

Felicia held her abdomen, barely standing up.

She took a deep breath, "In this state, it'll be hard for me to save the world." She wiped the dust off her face.

"Cats have always just been mascots."

Charlie said, then added: "There should still be room for you to play a part. Villains who die at the hands of women are never few."

"The next one might be you."

Suddenly, a petite figure swung down with webs, landing lightly. Her suit was white on top and black below, the Spider emblem pattern highly distinctive, and a pair of green ballet slippers extremely eye-catching.

"Chameleon, stay away from that woman." Gwen warned coldly.

Charlie: "…"

The Chameleon, one of the villains in the Spider-Man universe, adept at disguising himself as anyone, including Spider-Man.

Clearly, this world's Gwen had mistaken him for someone else.

Felicia also looked curiously at the woman before her.

Infected by a spider-virus?

Or the Spider-Man of this world?

"What are you dawdling for, hurry over here. That guy is dangerous."

Seeing Felicia staring blankly, Gwen urged her.

Before Felicia could respond, Gwen's figure suddenly trembled, and a pink spider totem emerged from her chest.

"Buzz~"

At the same time, Charlie also trembled slightly, the spider totem on his chest emerged simultaneously.

"You can't—!"

At the moment when Spider-Beings from different universes encountered each other, a mysterious attraction caused Gwen to involuntarily approach Charlie.

Although Gwen struggled constantly, she couldn't control her body at all.

"Buzz~"

In the next moment, the spider totem on Charlie's chest glowed again, five layered spider totems overlapping. This multiplied Gwen's attraction by several times.

With five spider totems, Gwen completely lost control.

She lost all reason. The pink totem activated her body's instincts, causing her to throw herself at Charlie without hesitation.

"Hey hey hey, what are you doing? If you come any closer, I'm going to scream—mmph mmph mmph…"

Under Felicia's perplexed gaze, Gwen instantly pinned Charlie down. Then—

"Gwen, I'm coming—!"

Just then, a bespectacled, honest-looking man climbed onto the rooftop. Seeing this scene, he felt as though he'd been struck by lightning.

"No!! Gwen, you…you both… no!!"

Peter Parker's eyes widened, his face grief-stricken. He fell to his knees and wailed as his world collapsed.

What was his goddess doing?

Immediately after, when he got a clear look at Charlie's face, tears gushed from his eyes.

"Charlie Parker, you bitch, I challenge you to a duel!!"

At once, Peter Parker rose and roared in fury. His face twisted ferociously, green scales emerged on his skin, and his body began to swell. All his clothes were torn by the bulging green muscles, and both hands mutated into savage claws.

"Lizard Parker!"

Seeing this old acquaintance, Charlie felt utterly awkward.
