At U.A. High School, Takeyama Urei and Ochako were anxiously watching the latest news. Because of the League of Villains' recent actions, public support for Midoriya Izuku was growing. Many citizens believed he was doing the right thing.
But at U.A., no one could bring themselves to cheer. Even though they understood Midoriya's reasoning, the Midoriya Izuku they knew wasn't the same anymore. The kind-hearted boy who dreamed of being a hero—why had he now become a villain who could take lives without hesitation?
Aizawa-sensei had already made it clear: Midoriya Izuku was no longer their classmate. He was now the most dangerous villain in the hero society.
"Damn it... that bastard..."
Bakugo was fuming, and his classmates didn't dare get too close to him. Even he didn't know why he had been so on edge lately. That damn Deku always wanted to be a hero… so why was he drifting further and further away?
There was nothing Bakugo could do to change or stop it. All he could do was let out his anger, which was the only way he knew how to vent his frustration.
"Midoriya... and that damn old man..."
Todoroki Shoto was lost in thought. He recalled his annoying father, Endeavor, who had been preparing for something in secret and hadn't been home for days. Normally, Todoroki wouldn't have noticed or cared if his father came home or not, but…
Lately, both All Might and Aizawa Shouta had been absent from U.A.'s classes. The lessons were now being taught by B-Class's teacher along with A-Class. That made Todoroki start to take notice.
With both All Might and Aizawa-sensei missing—and his father also acting strangely—there was only one thing that could require the No.1 and No.2 heroes to act together.
As Shinso Hitoshi passed by Class A's classroom, he glanced at the four students he had worked with before. Without saying anything, he simply walked away.

Night fell, and All Might and his team had made all the necessary preparations. Reliable intel confirmed that Midoriya Izuku was currently staying at the League of Villains' hideout. They still didn't know where All For One was, but their main target this time was Midoriya himself. The heroes and police were waiting for the right moment to strike.
This was a nighttime raid. The enemy would be less alert, and it would also make it easier to evacuate civilians. Once everything was in place, All Might and his team began their operation.
First, Togata Mirio gave a thumbs-up before using Permeation to phase underground and disappear. His Quirk made him the perfect scout for leading the charge.
All Might waited patiently. As soon as the right moment arrived, he would strike. Endeavor and the other heroes were also standing by, ready to storm the hideout once No.1 gave the signal.
They still remembered All Might's warning: among the League of Villains was a terrifying man known as All For One.
After a short while, they received a report from Togata Mirio. Hearing his message, All Might let out a sigh—both of disappointment and relief.
Disappointment because the operation had failed once again. Mirio's report confirmed that the League of Villains' hideout was already empty.
Relief because, at least, there wouldn't be a battle in the middle of the city, which meant no civilians would be harmed.
But that wasn't the only thing Mirio had to report. Sensing something was off, All Might and his team immediately rushed to the rooftop of the Seaside Building, where the League of Villains' hideout—a bar—was located.
Forcing their way up the stairs, they broke through the barriers and entered the bar. The moment All Might stepped inside, he saw Togata Mirio standing there with a grim expression. Following his gaze, All Might looked toward the bar counter.
There, resting on the counter, was a human head.
"Damn it..."
Regret and frustration filled All Might as he walked up to the counter. He recognized the face immediately—it was Magne, a member of the League of Villains.
And also the person who had leaked information to them.
As the rest of the team arrived and took in the scene, they had no idea what to make of it. All Might could only sigh and begin to explain.
"A member of the League of Villains, Magne… She secretly contacted me and Tsukauchi a while ago and told us the location and internal details of the League of Villains' hideout. You could say she was our informant within the League of Villains."
"Did they find out and kill her? That really fits their style."
"But why would she risk her life to tell you all this?"
Endeavor frowned. He couldn't understand why someone from the League of Villains would willingly betray their own group. Was she just tired of living?
"Because… she was afraid of the League of Villains' current leader—Midoriya. No… Midoriya Izuku."
"Why?"
Kamui Woods found it odd. The internet was full of talk about Midoriya Izuku. While his actions were extreme, from a hero's perspective, he just seemed like an overly aggressive good guy.
"Magne contacted Tsukauchi and me over the phone. I could hear the fear in her voice."
All Might stood in front of her lifeless head, reached out, and gently closed her wide-open, unseeing eyes. His voice was heavy with emotion.
"She said Midoriya Izuku killed a League of Villains member named Spinner without hesitation. Or rather, the reason was simple… As long as someone had taken a life, they became Midoriya's target. He wouldn't let them go."
"Magne felt threatened by the new League of Villains, but she didn't dare leave the group on her own… So she turned to the heroes, hoping to surrender and go to prison afterward."
After All Might finished speaking, everyone fell silent. No one knew what to say.
"Should we call it karma or a death wish?"
Endeavor snorted. His fiery beard flared up along with his temper. Unlike All Might, who might feel pity for an enemy, he had no such sympathy.
"If she hadn't done those terrible things, she wouldn't have ended up like this."
Those words were meant for the dead villain, but at the same time, they were a reminder to himself.
