Even in all his hunger, he still hesitated. "You don't… have to."
But she didn't even blink.
Her eyes lifted dark, knowing, and steady.
"I want to."
Her voice was calm and certain.
And before he could say another word, her fingers slipped beneath his shirt and slowly lifted the fabric. Inch by inch. She revealed his toned stomach, warm and tensed beneath her touch. He sucked in a sharp breath the moment her gaze dropped to it.
Then she leaned down and pressed her lips to his abs.
Her hand rested flat against his side, rubbing gently in slow circles, like she wasn't just touching muscle but grounding him. His head tipped back slightly, jaw tight, as her mouth moved…one kiss, then another. Her lips left a soft trail across his skin, and his hands gripped the sheets helplessly beside him.
His breath became ragged.
And in that moment, as her hair fell across his lap and her warmth spread through every nerve in his body…
Her hands went lower.
His breath hitched—deep, shaky.
