Ahqing spread open the palm of her hand, lifted the broken neck of the Rooster Tang, and let Tang Ji and Zhao Shuai inspect it closely.
The neck of the Rooster Tang wasn't very thick. In the smooth break, a pale gold bead the size of a soybean had formed. Tang Ji's round, chubby Maitreya Buddha face and Zhao Shuai's immature face squeezed together, almost squinting into cockfighting eyes in order to see that little soy-bean clearly.
Yet, they still made out what was inside.
At the broken neck of the Rooster Tang, the two could clearly see that apart from that area, the rest was a crystal made of semi-transparent caramelized syrup. Although not perfectly clear, one could definitely see through it.
Only where the pale golden bead was located, the syrup seemed to have been compressed at a high density, forming a slightly yellow-brown chunk of sugar covered by the clearly carved feathers of the rooster. It took quite a while before anyone even noticed it.
