Captain Zhao led his three children and several grandchildren to pay New Year's visits to the elders in the village. "Mother, I'm heading back home first."
Mrs. Zhao didn't stop him but just said, "Come over for lunch, your place hasn't started cooking yet."

Once he was home, he took out a plastic plate filled with various edibles, including candy, some nuts, and small packs of cream-filled biscuits, while the door was left open.
