For most people, they only got a chance to choose one of three entries each time they broke through a Great Realm. Normally during the Qi Refining Realm, the entry was randomly fixed.
After each Great Realm, upon breaking through, it was a choice of three.
That meant if there were no special opportunities, one had to cultivate all the way to Nascent Soul, choosing none of the entries during the breakthroughs, and then they could automatically combine three to get a chance of choosing among one "Supreme" entry.
