It was hard to tell how much time had passed.
By the spring, the middle-aged man in the rocking chair fanned himself casually with a palm-leaf fan and said nonchalantly, "Don't move too hastily, the Dragon Scales have just been stripped, it must be painful."
The Black Dragon groggily awoke in the spring water and instinctively looked at his wounds. Seeing that his wounds had almost completely healed, a glint of excitement flickered in his eyes.
His gamble had paid off!
But his excitement soon turned to confusion. Looking at his body, he saw that his dragon form was once again covered with pitch-black scales. He could feel that these scales were harder than before.
But he clearly remembered that his scales had been shattered.
Why had they grown back so quickly, and become even stronger than before?
He quickly figured it out.
