Guang Tongchen and Bai Ling watched as Jiang Xianwu stepped forward and then flipped open The Book of Chaos.
Bai Ling was curious what exactly Jiang Xianwu saw.

She wanted to walk over to Jiang Xianwu's side, but as her figure moved towards the row of the eight old gods, an invisible barrier appeared.
Bai Ling suddenly discovered, despite her strong telekinesis, that she was completely unable to advance even half a step. Even when she used telekinesis to try and push the wall, it did not budge at all.
"Jiang Xianwu, did you do this?"
Bai Ling's voice did not cross the barrier, and Zhou Baiyu on the other side of the invisible barrier, near the statues of the eight old gods, seemed to have not heard at all.
Bai Ling called out several times.
