The celebration was even grander than Jiang Jiu had expected; she thought it would just be reserving a spot for everyone to have dinner together.
But to her surprise, everybody from the station manager to the hosts, directors, department heads, IT managers, finance staff, drivers, and even the security guard were invited. They all sat together in a vast hall, where a stage had been temporarily set up, with stars performing songs and shows, and even a raffle event interspersed throughout the evening.
Jiang Jiu admitted that she had underestimated the event; after all, a television station does things on a grand scale.
Eventually, everyone sat together in a lively group, playing games and eating.
Jiang Jiu sat with Ruan Yuan and her team members. At one point, Ruan Yuan returned from the restroom with a rather unpleasant look on his face.
Jiang Jiu couldn't help but ask, "What's wrong?"
Ruan Yuan looked at Jiang Jiu, hesitating before speaking.
