"Jiang Siyan!"
Jiang Jiu was getting anxious. It was market day, and the place was teeming with people from out of town, which often attracted pickpockets looking to lift wallets and other small treasures.
Based on her experience as a reporter, Jiang Jiu suspected that these thieves were definitely working in gangs.
It was dangerous for Jiang Siyan to chase after them alone!
Luckily, Jiang Siyan had tied a helium balloon to her bag just before, and Jiang Jiu could see the balloon hurriedly moving forward. She didn't think twice and immediately gave chase.
But the crowd was too dense. It was clear the thief had noticed the balloon as well, for he released it. In an instant, Jiang Jiu lost sight of where the thief or Jiang Siyan might have gone.
"Jiang Jiu, what are you doing here?"
Jiang Jiu turned to see Ye Feixiang arriving at the market with his family—a little girl gripping a balloon in one hand and an ice cream in the other, eating with delight.
