Fu Jinghen arrived at the pub and immediately spotted the two people at the bar.
He merely glanced their way before heading to the booth where Qin Xiang sat.
"What took you so long?"
Fu Jinghen sat down opposite Qin Xiang, "Had to deal with some work."
Qin Xiang clicked his tongue, "I overestimated Wen Qiao's importance to you. It turns out she's not as important as your work."
Fu Jinghen looked up at him but said nothing.
The booth was close enough to the bar to catch bits of Wen Qiao's voice.
"Get up, stop playing dead, you've still got two drinks left."
Qin Xiang straightened up and tattled to Fu Jinghen, "Look, that's your little fiancée's true colors!"
He remembered Wen Qiao's behavior before Fu Jinghen's arrival and couldn't help but feel sorry for him, "Man, your sister is really heartless, setting you up with such a young fiancée. With that much energy, it's like she got you a daughter, not afraid that you won't be able to handle it."
