"I slept well, I got a full eight hours last night, and I didn't take any sleeping pills." Tang Yan raised his eyes, looking at him with a calm gaze.
Song Qi suddenly realized that Tang Yan seemed a bit strange today, looking him over carefully. He appeared to be much more spirited, and even a bit more talkative than the last time Song Qi had visited.
During previous visits, Tang Yan's eyes were dull with defeat, and he hardly spoke unless necessary, as if his lips were sealed shut with glue.
Song Qi even thought that the trauma had robbed him of the ability to speak, but Tang Yan would occasionally utter a few words, proving that wasn't the case.
"I haven't been here for two days, what happened? You seem to have recovered a lot," Song Qi was puzzled, but he had a hunch.
"Jin Mo has been here for two days, bringing me chicken soup."
The moment Tang Yan spoke, Song Qi exploded, "I knew it! It had to be her visit; what else could cause such a big change in just a couple of days!"
