In the car, Lu Chen stared at Su Mo's face for a while, as if he thought of something. He took a white short-sleeve shirt from the Space, folded it a few times, and covered her mouth and nose gently. He then pulled out her ponytail, tying a knot with the two short sleeves at the back of her head.
Touching the cloth covering her face, Su Mo asked curiously, "What's this for?"
"Just verifying something," the man said softly, holding her hand.
Verifying? Su Mo realized that it might be the zombies that could possibly be coming for her.
She looked down, finding the whole situation inconceivable.
"We're about to arrive. Get ready."
Li Ming's voice came through the car's intercom.
The superpower users in several vehicles braced for action.
The car sped into the area infested with zombies.
Windows on both sides of the five vehicles were opened, with gunshots and skills of superpower users being unleashed out of the windows, targeting the zombies on both sides.
