"Mr. Fu is about to enter the hall of marriage, so it's inappropriate for you to come in now," Chi Yue said.
Fu Rongyin's face remained impassive. "I thought you weren't aware of that."
"I didn't want to know, but everyone out there is talking. I can't cover my ears everywhere I go," Chi Yue replied.
Fu Rongyin's lips curved slightly. "I need to talk to you about something."
"If you have something to say, say it here. It's not convenient to go inside."
As she spoke, the sound of a door handle turning came from the house opposite them.
Before Chi Yue could react, Fu Rongyin had already pulled and carried her into the house and closed the door.
Chi Yue laughed out of frustration. "Mr. Fu, isn't this a bit immoral of you?"
Chi Yue was trapped behind the door, and she could hear the crisp sound of it closing from the corridor outside.
Knowing what Fu Rongyin was worried about, she just didn't want to comply with his wishes.
