It was Xia Tiantian's mother, Zheng Manman.
Zheng Manman was carrying plastic bags filled with vegetables, meat, eggs, and milk, clearly having just returned from grocery shopping.
Lin Tian then went over to greet her.
Seeing Zheng Manman sweating profusely, Lin Tian took two large bags of groceries from her hands and said, "Auntie, let me carry them for you."
"Oh, that's too kind of you," said Zheng Manman.
"No problem, our homes are not far apart. I can take them to your place and then head back home," Lin Tian said with a smile.
"I really appreciate it," she said, smiling, and walked next to Lin Tian toward their homes.
On their way, Lin Tian and Zheng Manman chatted and laughed, with most of the conversation revolving around Xia Tiantian.
Observing Lin Tian's profile, Zheng Manman was eager to ask about the exact nature of the relationship between Lin Tian and her precious daughter, Xia Tiantian.
