After parting with Tom and returning to the office, Jimmy had an uneventful night and was preparing to leave in the morning when Chris arrived at the office ahead of schedule.
Jimmy: "Hi, Chris, good morning."
Chris: "Jimmy, good timing, you haven't left yet. The Dallas office contacted Hughes, and they need you to take a trip over there. Apparently, there's a case you handled before that requires some follow-up work. Speaking of which, it's my first time hearing that you actually worked on several cases in Dallas; it seems you were quite active during your apprenticeship period."
Jimmy, full of question marks: "What case? I finished all my cases over there, didn't I?"
Chris: "I don't know about that, Hughes contacted me this morning. Anyway, just head over there first; it's Hughes's arrangement."
Jimmy nodded, looking completely bewildered as he left the office.
