Unfortunately, Jimmy's leisure time was short-lived. Just after finishing his coffee, he heard the fire alarm go off.
People from various offices began to leave, and Jimmy followed the crowd outside. Had something happened at Frank's? Otherwise, why would there be a sudden fire alarm?
With the scene in chaos, Jimmy couldn't do anything too unconventional; he could only follow the flow of people and leave the building through the main entrance on the first floor. The Langley building was an enormous structure, and the fire alarm was only for this section, so there weren't many people downstairs. Jimmy stood on the outskirts of the crowd, peering towards the building's exit. If something had happened to Frank, he would likely take advantage of the current confusion to leave the building, too.
