Jimmy drove all the way back to Washington, D.C., returned the car, withdrew some cash from the bank, changed into a new set of clothes in a secluded area, and then confidently emerged onto the streets. He strolled around, bought two burner phones, and rented another car from a different dealership, preparing to head to Annapolis to meet up with Frank and the others.
At that moment, Jimmy's phone rang, and he realized it was Tom on the other end. He told Tom to hold on for a moment and called him back on one of the burner phones.
Jimmy: "What do you want?"
Tom: "Why were you near Langley?"
Jimmy frowned, "How did you know I was here?"
Tom: "I tracked your Little Rock cell phone number. It wasn't exactly at Langley, but only about ten kilometers away. Why did you go there?"
