Jimmy set down the newspaper and returned to the outside of the command center. He knocked on the door, waved to Noah who turned to look, and then entered the command center.
Jimmy, "Mr. Watson, could you have the techs keep an eye on that cell phone number from earlier? Of course, it won't interfere with your work. Just let me know when it gets switched back on and connects to a cell tower."
Noah looked at Jimmy for a few seconds, then nodded, "I understand, I'll arrange it."
Jimmy, "Thanks, I'm heading down."
It's truly troublesome to communicate with outsiders, but Jimmy considered this smooth enough, especially since it was a bomb case, and Noah Watson hadn't outright refused, which was good news.
Afterward, Jimmy could only stay in the meeting room until it was time to leave work and drive home to rest.
The next day, not long after arriving at the Anti-Terrorism Bureau, someone came to the conference room to inform Jimmy to go to the command center.
