Because there was only half a day between the two videos, from evening to the next morning, Deputy Editor Allen's phone wasn't particularly busy; there were only three calls, especially the home phone. Good grief, in order not to miss any clues, Jimmy even listened to other people's calls.
However, it seems that this 50-year-old deputy editor has a wide range of interests. At least he received calls from three seemingly unusual women, although he didn't know their ages, but one of them sounded quite young.
Understandably, as a TV station's deputy editor, he was somewhat of a big deal, though not particularly well-known. But such people often have direct authority over matters, whether programs or personnel. There definitely weren't few in the news circle willing to curry favor with him.
As Jimmy listened, he couldn't help but smirk, thinking, "This old man, still quite popular, huh?"
