The view was from a high angle overlooking the land, and what made his scalp tingle was that he didn't see the edge of the world but only the entire Beishu Continent and some islands near the Beishu Continent, beyond which lay the ocean.
Even knowing that this land was vast, he had no idea that a photograph taken from such a high altitude would capture only the Beishu Continent.
At this height, in his previous life, one could have captured the outline of a planet.
What shocked him even more was the curvature of the earth. He had believed the earth was flat, based on the data returned from numerous failed rocket launches that had been analyzed by the IBM z15.
But according to this image, the earth still had a curvature, albeit very slight. If the land beneath his feet was still a sphere, he couldn't even imagine how large this planet must be.
