The father and son didn't have obviously similar features, but from certain angles and in their expressions, they looked alike.
Lu Ruisheng looked at Lu Jianguo, his mind a mess, wanting to know too much, but as his wife had said, at least he had not been abandoned as a child, and his father remembered him. This lessened his fear—he truly feared he had been abandoned. Although he was grown up, those repressed ideas from childhood were knots that couldn't be untied. At least for now, one knot was unraveled.
No matter the reason, as long as there was one, as long as it wasn't abandonment, he felt he could more easily accept it.
