The fight went into silence as Gar'al killed the second duke.
"H-He really killed another duke."
"S-Should we actually surrender?"
"We still have the king."
The evolvers gathered together after the sudden stop on the battlefield. Most people from the 'kingdom' lost their lives, with the dukes dead, what hope did they have? And the death was minimal on Cynthia's team and allies.
While the rebels fought, Cynthia's team assisted them. Robin's dagger took their heads, Tim and his partner's arrows took their lives with a shot, and Alexa and Cynthia were so casual about it.
It wasn't a battle but a massacre. And after everything that had happened, they knew they couldn't rejoice because it wasn't over.
And as if to remind them of that, the glass at the top of the tallest building cracked, and a figure jumped out.
Afterwards, two other figures jumped and landed on the ground,
