She was dumbfounded, not just surprised but scared that she was not even safe in the hands of her family members. She knew her father did a lot of things she disapproved of, but seeing Lucas? It did not make sense to her that he would go at her back to talk to him.
"Yes, we met three days ago." He whimpered as he said that.
"But, why? Why did you meet him? You know he is the last person I want to know about, right?" she asked, still confused about everything.
"Well, he disturbed me about wanting to see me, so I decided to just do it…" he paused, being careful of the next thing he wanted to say.
"Dad, are you hiding anything from me? This is not the right time to do that, so please talk." She remembered an incomplete conversation she had with Elena, and she would bring it up with her dad, but this one needed to be addressed very soon.
