Chapter 14 - Chapter 14 Usopp Pirates

"Don't stop!"

Hearing this, Moonlight opened his eyes, slightly frustrated.

Under Luffy's relentless attacks, his Observation Haki was rapidly gaining experience!

It was about to level up again, but just then, Luffy stopped, prompting Moonlight to shout.

"You're amazing! Let me try!"

Seeing this, Zoro's fighting spirit ignited.

He was a swordsman, and so was Moonlight, who was even stronger. Zoro's ambition was to become the world's greatest swordsman!

When he saw someone stronger than himself, it sparked a fierce desire to fight.

"Alright!"

Moonlight nodded and closed his eyes again.

"You better dodge well; I won't hold back. If I accidentally kill you, don't blame me!"

Zoro sneered.

"Come on then, if you can hit me!"

Moonlight said calmly.

"Fine!"

Zoro roared and drew his swords, attacking ferociously!

His attacks were fast and aggressive, with no less speed than Luffy's punches!

"Swish, swish, swish, swish!"

Zoro's swords slashed at Moonlight, but he dodged effortlessly, moving gracefully through the storm of blades.

"Zoro, faster!"

Moonlight said calmly.

"Damn it, Two-Sword Style!"

Zoro yelled, unleashing both swords at once!

"Ding! Observation Haki level up!"

"Ding! Observation Haki lv3 1/1,000,000!"

Level 3 achieved!

Moonlight felt a change. Although his eyes were closed, he could now see Zoro's aura, movements, and even his attacks clearly!

He could even predict Zoro's next move!

Level 3 Observation Haki allowed him to make initial predictions of his opponent's next strike!

"So this is Level 3 Haki? Zoro, use your Three-Sword Style!"

Feeling the change in his body, Moonlight said calmly.

"Fine!"

Zoro nodded. He didn't need Moonlight to tell him; he could already feel the pressure!

With his three swords unleashed, a violent storm of slashes tore through the ship with overwhelming speed and power!

Moonlight dodged effortlessly within the storm, completely unaffected!

Eventually, Zoro collapsed on the deck, gasping for breath.

Even with his monstrous endurance, he was utterly exhausted, showcasing just how terrifying Moonlight's abilities were!

"How is this possible? I couldn't even land a single strike on you? The gap between us is this wide?"

Zoro was shocked.

He knew Moonlight was stronger, but he never imagined the difference was this great.

"That's amazing, Moonlight! How did you dodge all of Zoro's attacks?"

Luffy looked at Moonlight with admiration.

"Yeah, how did you do that?"

Nami was equally astonished!

Zoro and Luffy had attacked so many times, yet not a single hit landed—while Moonlight's eyes were closed!

"This is Haki, Observation Haki. It allows you to sense your opponent's aura and strength. Unfortunately, I can't really teach it to you because even I find this power a bit mysterious."

Moonlight smiled.

Haki was something everyone possessed, but few could train it effectively. As for teaching it to others, Moonlight had no idea how—his system had granted it to him naturally, like it was innate.

It wasn't the same for them.

"Haki? What's that? Never mind, I'm hungry. Nami, is there an island nearby?"

Luffy asked, puzzled, as he rubbed his empty stomach.

"I won't learn from you. I'll defeat you and become stronger on my own!"

Zoro declined outright.

He had his pride and confidence. Even if Moonlight offered to teach, he wouldn't accept.

"An island, huh? Let me check... Yes, there is one nearby, called Syrup Island. We can restock our supplies there."

Nami opened the map and pointed to a nearby island.

After speaking, she looked to the southeast, where a small island gradually came into view!

"Yes! An island, fantastic!"

Luffy shouted in excitement.

"Not bad, Navigator! You've got some skills!"

Zoro, lying on the deck, gave a thumbs up, too tired to stand.

"Of course. With me as the navigator, this ship has nothing to worry about."

Nami said confidently.

When it came to navigation, she was second to none!

"Syrup Island, huh?"

Moonlight murmured, gazing at the distant land.

Meanwhile, on Syrup Island, a man with a long nose, goggles on his head, and a bag slung at his waist was watching Moonlight and his crew from afar.

The pirate flag flying on their ship was glaringly obvious!

"Captain, did you spot something?"

"Whatever it is, the Usopp Pirates can handle it!"

"Yeah, no matter what happens, we are brave warriors of the sea!"

The three kids beside him cheered.

"Onion, Carrot, Pepper, this isn't some pirate game. Those are real pirates!"

Usopp said with an unprecedentedly serious tone.

"Haha, Captain, stop joking. Who'd believe that?"

"Yeah, even though we're part of the Usopp Pirates and we respect you, let's not say stuff like that. Everyone in the village calls you 'Liar Usopp'!"

"Captain, give it up!"

The three kids laughed, not believing a word.

Usopp often tricked the villagers, and after being fooled so many times, no one believed anything he said anymore—not even his own crew.

It was only natural; after being lied to once, twice, thrice, who would trust a fourth or fifth time?

"I'm serious this time, I swear! If you don't believe me, see for yourselves!"

Usopp's face was dead serious, sweat dripping down his forehead.

"Alright, Captain, your acting is getting better, but we can't keep up..."

The three kids shook their heads and took the telescope Usopp handed over, looking through it absentmindedly.

Suddenly, they froze, trembling.

"P-Pirates!"

"Real pirates, real pirates!"

"This is bad, Captain! What do we do?"

The three of them began to shake.

Though they often played pirate games, they knew those were fake. Now, faced with real pirates, they found they didn't even have the courage to face them!

"What else? You three, go warn the villagers and tell everyone to run! Real pirates are here this time."

Usopp urged them quickly.

"What about you?"

The three were about to run but saw Usopp standing still and asked.

"I... I'm staying here to stop them. I won't let any pirates hurt the villagers, never!"

Usopp said, trembling, but he stood his ground, refusing to back down.
