Third person POV:

As the readers recall the thrilling events of the last chapter (which the author once again skipped summarizing—genius move), we zoom in on our main character, Sora. His face was flushed with frustration, his hands clenched as he stomped around in circles. He had been lost for hours, his terrible sense of direction not doing him any favors.

"AM I WALKING IN CIRCLES OR WHAT?! WHERE THE HELL IS BELOBOG?!" Sora roared, startling a flock of nearby birds, which promptly flew away in fear.

He was supposed to find Belobog hours ago, but here he was, trudging through what felt like the same landscape over and over again. Every step seemed to carry him deeper into the wilderness, and yet, no matter how hard he tried, the city was nowhere in sight.

(Cue inner monologue)

'Honestly, what is this place?! It's not like Honkai: Star Rail gave any GPS system with its crazy maps.' He kicked a stray rock with a bit too much force, sending it flying into the distance. 'I can't keep wandering around like this. Ugh, I swear if I run into another robot—'

His thoughts were abruptly interrupted when four floating crystal creatures materialized out of thin air, each one radiating an eerie glow. Two were icy blue, the other two blazing red, clearly Frostspawns and Firespawns. They hovered menacingly, their dull crystalline bodies humming with an ominous energy.

"Great," Sora muttered under his breath. "Just what I needed. Some freaky monsters for breakfast. Well, whatever. It's time to test out this cursed energy."

He grinned wickedly, his hands already beginning to glow with a purplish-black aura. This was no ordinary power—this was the cursed energy, the same energy that flowed through Mahito, the cursed spirit. It wasn't just raw strength, but something deeper, something darker, and Sora had only scratched the surface of what it could do.

With a crack of his knuckles, he braced himself. "Come at me, you floating piles of useless crystals! Let's see how durable you are."

Without wasting another moment, the creatures darted toward him, their bodies whizzing through the air with a sharp crackling noise. Sora narrowed his eyes, the cursed energy pulsating in his veins as he braced himself.

The first two, a Frostspawn and a Firespawn, came at him from opposite sides. With a quick sidestep, he dodged them both, his fist colliding with their bodies. The impact sent shockwaves through the ground, shattering the creatures into hundreds of tiny shards.

Purple flames licked the edges of his hands as his cursed energy intensified. He felt the power surge through his limbs, raw and untamed, and it made him grin even wider.

"Not bad," he muttered, glancing at the remaining two creatures still hovering before him. "Now, let's see how this Idle Transfiguration works..."

He focused, bringing both hands up as he darted toward the remaining two crystal creatures. The moment his fingertips brushed against their crystalline forms, a sickly green and purple light enveloped them. Their bodies warped and twisted unnaturally before collapsing into glowing green and purple orbs on the ground—their souls, now under his control.

Sora gazed down at the glowing souls with satisfaction. "Womp, womp," he said, a smirk tugging at his lips as he picked up the souls and absorbed them into his body. The rush of energy that followed was exhilarating, like a jolt of electricity coursing through his veins.

"Feels good," he muttered, flexing his fingers as the power settled within him. "But this is just the beginning. I need to test these powers out on something bigger… something stronger."

With that, he began wandering again, his bad sense of direction once more leading him astray. He kept turning every corner, stumbling across more and more Frostspawns and Firespawns, each one meeting the same fate—becoming fodder for his cursed energy. Every battle made him stronger, more attuned to the powers coursing through him.

'Mahito's powers really are something else,' Sora thought as he wiped the sweat from his brow after another brief scuffle. 'But this isn't enough. If I'm going to reshape this world, I'll need to tap into even greater power.'

As he wandered, a small realization struck him—he was not alone in this vast, cold wilderness. He could hear faint voices drifting toward him, followed by the distant clang of weapons and the unmistakable sound of footsteps.

'Is that… people?' Sora perked up, his ears straining to catch more of the noise. A grin slowly spread across his face as the realization hit him. 'That has to be the crew I've been looking for.'

Excitement surged through him, and without a second thought, he sprinted toward the sounds. His sense of direction may have been abysmal, but his instincts were sharp, and he could feel that he was close.

"The beginning of the timeline of the Belobog arc, huh?" Sora whispered to himself as he dashed through the underbrush, his eyes wild with anticipation. "It's a beautiful day for a fight. Let's see how I can twist this world's fate... for I have become the shaper of souls."

He broke through the trees and came to an abrupt halt at the edge of a clearing. There, standing in the middle of the battlefield, were the familiar faces of the crew he had been searching for. They were locked in combat with an army of enemies, their weapons gleaming in the sunlight as they fought fiercely.

Sora's grins widen crazily as he took in the scene. This was it—the moment he had been waiting for. He clenched his fists, his cursed energy already flaring to life around him.

"let's do this," he muttered to himself as he stepped forward, ready to join the fray.
