Chapter 134 - Chapter 134 I Am Good At Convincing People With Reason.

Hela was sealed in the realm of the dead.

This seal had been placed by Odin himself. Under normal circumstances, no one could break through it or enter the Kingdom of the Dead without Odin's direct command.

But if that person was Luo Bai, things were different.

Luo Bai's growth rate was terrifying. He wielded the power of fairies, and if anyone could break the seal and release Hela—it was him.

After all, Odin had expended too much divine power to imprison Hela.

And now, with Ragnarok approaching, his seal was no longer as strong as before.

For Luo Bai, freeing Hela was effortless.

But something felt off.

Didn't Luo Bai promise to protect Asgard?

Why would he release Hela?

Odin was puzzled, but before he could say a word—

Hela spoke.

"Asgard... I'm back."

She inhaled deeply as she stepped forward.

And in that instant—

Her once-weakened body was restored to full strength.

As long as she stood in Asgard, Hela's power would continue to grow.

The haggard and frail appearance she once had? Gone.

Her energy surged, her presence commanding.

Odin's expression darkened.

He knew—he could no longer control her.

But what he didn't understand was why.

His gaze shifted to Luo Bai, his voice low and wary:

"Did you bring her back to Asgard?"

Luo Bai smiled.

"Yes, All-Father. I sent your daughter home."

Odin frowned, his confusion deepening.

"We had an agreement. I don't understand why you would do this."

Luo Bai's smirk didn't fade. His tone remained calm and measured.

"Precisely because of our agreement, I must ensure that Asgard is safe. And your daughter—" he gestured toward Hela, "is a hidden danger."

"So I sealed her."

"But you won't be able to keep her sealed for much longer, will you?"

Their conversation left everyone in the hall bewildered.

And no one was more confused than Thor.

Thor was not a man who could stay silent for long.

Hearing Luo Bai say "your daughter" to Odin made him feel uneasy.

Since when did his father have another child?

His stomach twisted with uncertainty.

And before he could stop himself, he interrupted:

"Wait. What are you two talking about?! Who is this woman? What do you mean by 'daughter'?!"

Before Odin could respond, Hela turned to Thor with a smirk.

"Hello, little brother."

Thor felt a shiver run down his spine.

His gaze snapped to Odin.

"Father—what is going on?"

Odin sighed heavily.

There was no keeping this a secret any longer.

So, he finally spoke the truth.

"She is right, Thor. She is your sister—my eldest daughter—Hela, the Goddess of Death."

Silence.

Thor's mind went blank.

A sister?!

He had a sister?!

His throat went dry as he stammered:

"Why… why have I never seen her in Asgard?"

Odin's shoulders sagged.

His voice was heavy with exhaustion.

"Because her ambition was too great. She sought to rule the entire universe. I had no choice, Thor. This… was the only way."

The moment Odin finished speaking, Hela laughed.

A cold, mocking laugh.

"Oh? Is that what you tell yourself, 'Great God King'?"

Her voice dripped with sarcasm.

Odin's face twitched.

Perhaps her words struck a nerve—because for the first time, his tone sharpened:

"War is never the answer, Hela! If we desire peace, we must put an end to war!"

Hela's smile vanished.

Her voice turned icy.

"Is that what you believe?"

"Funny. Because when you ordered me to fight for you, you didn't seem to mind war then."

Her eyes flashed with fury.

"I conquered the Nine Realms for you. I bathed them in blood for you. And once you had everything—once you sat comfortably on your golden throne—

you preached about peace?

You hypocrite!"

The hall grew tense.

Odin remained silent.

Because deep down—he knew she was right.

And Hela knew it too.

But Odin's guilt meant nothing to her.

Her hatred had festered for thousands of years.

And now, standing before him—watching how old and weak he had become—

She no longer felt the need to hold back.

Her lips curled into a cruel smile.

"This time, I have returned to take back what is mine."

Her voice was laced with venom.

Her emerald gaze burned with unforgiving wrath.

"Odin—this throne was always meant to be mine."

Her hand rose.

A black sword materialized in her grasp.

She lifted it high.

And without hesitation—

she swung it down at Odin.

But before her blade could strike—

Thor intervened.

His hammer clashed against her sword, stopping her attack mid-air.

But the force—Hela's sheer strength—

sent him flying.

Thor slammed into one of the massive pillars of the hall. The impact shook the ground.

For a brief moment, everything was still.

Then—

Thor gritted his teeth and pushed himself up.

He was hurt.

But he wasn't done.

His eyes blazed with fury.

His voice thundered:

"I don't care if you are my sister. I don't care what happened between you and my father."

"But as long as I'm here—"

"I won't let you lay a single finger on him!"

Hela tilted her head.

And then—she laughed.

"Ah… youth. How nostalgic."

Her gaze softened—just for a moment.

"I used to be just like you."

Her expression darkened.

"I stood by his side."

Her voice turned bitter.

"And what did I get in return?"

Her eyes burned with fury once more.

"He threw me away. Sealed me away. Left me to rot in that forsaken place for thousands of years."

Her fists clenched.

"And now, he calls himself a man of peace?"

She scoffed.

"Hypocrite."

Her voice turned razor-sharp.

"Liar."

Thor stood his ground.

"Your ambition was too dangerous. War would only bring chaos to the Nine Realms!"

Hela chuckled.

"Is that what he told you?"

She shook her head.

"You really are his perfect little puppet, aren't you?"

Her eyes narrowed.

"No wonder he wants you to take the throne."

Her lips curled into a wicked smirk.

"But tell me, dear brother—"

"Are you truly worthy of it?"

Thor was furious at Hela's provocation.

"You'll see whether I'm worthy or not!" he shouted, summoning his full power before hurling Mjolnir at her.

Normally, no one but Odin could withstand the might of Thor's hammer.

But Hela didn't just stop Mjolnir with one hand—she tightened her grip and, with a sudden burst of strength... crushed it.

Boom!

A shockwave of lightning erupted through Asgard's main hall.

When the dust settled, everyone was left in stunned silence.

Thor's hammer—once a symbol of his strength—was now nothing more than shattered debris.

Thor, who had been brimming with confidence moments ago, stood frozen in shock.

She... crushed Mjolnir with her bare hands?!

Just how powerful was his sister?

"Hah. Is this all you've got?" Hela sneered, her voice dripping with mockery.

Thor: "......"

He knew—rationally—that he was no match for her.

But his pride wouldn't let him back down.

Especially now, after she had destroyed his weapon right in front of him.

Fueled by rage, Thor clenched his fists and lunged at Hela.

The result... was disastrous.

Hela toyed with him, effortlessly dodging his attacks before landing devastating blows of her own.

Loki, watching from the sidelines, smirked and muttered, "Tsk, tsk. How tragic. Oh, my dear brother... I do hope he isn't beaten to death."

It was clear that Hela was on a rampage, and soon, she might become completely uncontrollable.

Odin, visibly weakened, turned to Luo Bai with a grave expression.

"Releasing Hela was a foolish decision," he said seriously.

Luo Bai, however, shook his head.

"She's your daughter. I thought she would be reasonable," he replied.

Odin let out a weary sigh.

"Do you really think reasoning with her is possible? I've tried before—she never listened."

"That's because your approach was wrong," Luo Bai said simply.

Odin was taken aback.

"You have a better idea?"

"Of course. I'm very good at making people see reason," Luo Bai replied confidently.

Before Odin could ask what he meant, Luo Bai turned his attention to Hela, who was still raging.

Then, without warning, he gathered his strength—and punched her.

The sheer force of his attack shattered the floor of Asgard's main hall, sending Hela crashing through it.

Without hesitation, Luo Bai followed her into the chasm.

Descending into the darkened space, he saw Hela sprawled on the ground, momentarily unable to move.

But instead of attacking again, Luo Bai floated above her and spoke calmly:

"Hela, I think you're mistaken. Your opponent this time... is me."

"If you want to become the God-King of Asgard and rule the universe—including Earth—then first, you have to defeat me."
