Chapter 33 - Drag Monsters, Mass Kill, Instant Boss

Late at night, Lin Moyu entered the dungeon for the fourth time. Now, the number of skeleton warriors under his command had increased to 76.

After clearing the dungeon three times before, he knew the place like the back of his hand. But tonight, a new idea came to him.

"I could try something different," he thought. "If it works here, it might work in other dungeons too."

Without hesitation, he sent his skeleton warriors rushing into the mine like a tide. As the undead army surged forward, the monsters within the mine noticed them but were ignored. The warriors didn't engage in battle; instead, they sped towards the depths of the dungeon.

A peculiar scene unfolded: a mass of skeletons sprinted ahead, with a horde of goblins chasing behind them. At the rear of this bizarre procession was Lin Moyu, jogging along with a slight smile on his face.

Ever since his skeleton warriors reached the bronze level, their distance limit from Lin Moyu had increased to 1,000 meters. As long as he stayed within that range, he was in control.

The nearly hundred monsters within the mine tunnel pursued them relentlessly, all the way to the lair of the Mine Wolf King.

Awakened by the disturbance, the Mine Wolf King attacked the skeletons, but they paid it no mind. It wasn't until every monster had gathered that Lin Moyu gave the signal. Under his command, the skeleton warriors gradually reduced their range, herding the goblins and wolves together into a tighter cluster.

Lin Moyu, now standing at the mine's entrance, waited patiently. Then, with a single command, one of the skeleton warriors attacked, cutting down a goblin mine guard. The corpse was thrown into the air.

It exploded.

At that exact moment, Lin Moyu activated his Corpse Explosion skill.

A deafening blast echoed through the mine, causing the walls to tremble and rocks to tumble down. The goblin guards collapsed in heaps as explosions reverberated through the cavern. His notification screen lit up with so many messages that Lin Moyu didn't even bother to read them.

More corpses, more explosions—he triggered the skill ten more times. The ground itself seemed to sink as the chain of detonations shook the dungeon. Even the mighty Mine Wolf King couldn't escape; it died in the ensuing carnage.

The iron gates deeper within the mine suddenly swung open, releasing a fresh wave of mine wolves. Only then did Lin Moyu realize that these gates opened automatically, without the Wolf King needing to summon reinforcements.

"Go, pull them all in!" he commanded.

The skeleton warriors obeyed, dashing towards the mine once more. Inside, aside from a few more goblin monsters, their main target awaited—the Goblin King.

Hundreds of wolves charged after the skeletons as Lin Moyu followed behind, his body glowing with the radiance of a newly acquired level. That last round of explosions had pushed him to level 14, and it had only been five minutes since he entered the dungeon.

It was absurdly fast.

The skeletons continued through the mine's passages, gathering every monster in sight. By the time they reached the bottom, over 200 creatures were trailing behind them—goblins and mine wolves packed tightly together.

The Goblin King stirred from its slumber, its eyes filled with confusion.

"What in the world...?"

"I'm back again," Lin Moyu said, stepping into the chamber.

The skeletons stopped running and turned to fight. With a furious blow, one of the warriors sliced through a mine wolf. The corpse flew into the air, only to explode moments later.

The chain reaction began once again.

Boom!

Boom!

The blasts shook the mine, nearly collapsing it. The experience points rained down on Lin Moyu, and material items piled into his backpack. The Goblin King, still groggy and not yet on its feet, was caught in the explosions. In just a few seconds, it too fell—its defeat even more pitiful than before.

Lin Moyu glanced at the crumpled form of the Goblin King and sighed.

"Three more times, I won't come after that," he murmured, as if comforting the fallen king. "You're used to dying anyway. Adventurers come to kill you every day."

[Kill the Goblin King. Experience +40,000]

[Obtain a bronze-level weapon: Goblin King's Staff]

[Obtain a low-level monster crystal nucleus]

He checked his rewards.

[Goblin King's Staff: Bronze level. Spirit +10. Constitution +10. Mage-type skills increased by 3%. Usable after level 12.]

His experience bar showed he was now 60% into level 14. "Next time I come here, I'll hit level 15," he thought. But after that, the experience requirements would rise dramatically—likely doubling or even tripling. Still, he calculated that he could run this dungeon three more times and reach level 16.

Outside the dungeon, the usual activity had returned. The crowd was a bit thinner than before, and the people were unfamiliar to him. Listening to their conversations, Lin Moyu learned that the Dynasty Guild had been around, but it seemed they hadn't discovered anything useful.

This time, Lin Moyu didn't leave immediately. Instead, he found a quiet spot to meditate.

Four more skeleton warriors had joined his ranks, bringing the total to 76. Each warrior now had an impressive 4,600 points across all four main attributes, surpassing even the dungeon's boss, the Goblin King. The only disadvantage was that their skills weren't as lethal as the Goblin King's devastating flame spray.

As he meditated, Lin Moyu suddenly received a signal from one of his skeleton warriors: someone was approaching.
