Azure and Prism who were still trying to figure out why Christopher was suddenly keen on hiding his presence suddenly froze. It wasn't due to fear or because they became too cold to move.
None of that. Instead, it was because when Christopher uttered his words to the Warden, due to his authority seeping out, it affected the reality around his body on a fundamental level.
In this case, what happened was that the temperature around them suddenly ceased.
It wasn't that it became so cold that they were unable to move. Nothing like that. Instead, the concept of temperature simply ceased to exist around them.
