The monster crumbled under the massive Qi release from Lucas. Its body broke into huge chunks, each resembling whale meat.
Lucas, ignoring the abomination's growls of pain, turned his attention to his friend, Micheal.
Micheal was still on the ground, his body engulfed in Lucas' beautiful and dangerous scarlet flames. He looked back at the monster and saw its body broken into thousands of pieces.
He looked back at Micheal and waved his hand. Almost instantly, the flames surrounding the boy vanished.
And Micheal played on the ground, unscathed. He breathed heavily and tried standing up.
Lucas extended his hand, and Micheal grabbed it to aid him.
"The hell was that?" Micheal questioned Lucas, his body aching with pain and exhaustion.
Lucas smiled. He stretched out his hand and pinched Micheal. But to Micheal's astonishment, he felt no pain.
"Interesting..." Lucas muttered. He stepped back and kicked Micheal right between his legs.
Micheal instinctively let out a scream, only to realise no pain had come to him. He looked at Lucas flabbergasted.
"Again, what the hell was that?!" Micheal asked again, this time in fear.
Lucas remained silent. He looked at Micheal from head to toe before finally answering his friend's question.
"The skill I developed while on the bus here." He said, his voice calm. "I call it『Burningblood』".
Micheal was even more astonished now.
"Y-you developed a skill while on a bus?!!" He asked.
Lucas calmly nodded, still inspecting Micheal's body.
"Well... what does it do?" Micheal asked, curiosity getting the better of him. A smirk tugged on Lucas' lips.
"I'm glad you asked!" He replied in a more joyful tone. "For now, I've learnt that the skill consumes about 15MP. It produces scarlet coloured flames, but only if my blood falls onto an external surface."
Micheal listened attentively.
"Does it do anything else other than look cool and heal injuries?" Micheal asked. Lucas nodded and continued.
"Yes. I just found out that the flames do immense damage to those my body title as dangerous."
Micheal let out a gasp. "What else?" He asked.
But before Lucas replied further, a loud roar yet again rang out, shaking the facility to the point of crumbling the walls.
"Guess I'm about to find out." Lucas said, looking at the regenerating pieces of the monster he defeated.
