In a hut at the outskirts of Tanzaku Gai:
In the darkness of the hut, two voices spoke.
"It seems like Jiraiya of the Sannin and Naruto Uzumaki made contact with our target."
"I see. Well, it won't matter even if they're involved."
"Looks like Tsunade and Naruto-Kun had a fight too, from what a resident told me."
The second voice laughed at that.
"Ku Ku, I'm really not surprised. Both of them have rather fiery personalities after all."
"Indeed."
"You may get the chance to test yourself soon, Kimimaro."
"If that is your wish, Orochimaru-Sama."
NARUTO POV:
Shizune burst through the door to see a half-naked Naruto putting on his pants.
"Whoa!?"
"S-sorry" she blinked "Where's Jiraiya-Sama? It's urgent."
There was a thudding sound at the window, and the two turned to see Jiraiya stumble into the room after opening it.
"Damn Tsunade" he slurred "spiked my drink."
Shizune rushed to the big man, and ran her hands over him while running a medical Jutsu.
"Tsunade-Sama vanished" she told the Sannin "You were right when you said Orochimaru was here. He offered to bring…those two back if she healed a subordinate of his, and today is the day she's supposed to give an answer."
"What are we waiting for then?" Naruto said impatiently as he finally put on all his clothes and unsealed his twin Katana "Let's go!"
"Why the hell are you here?" Naruto demanded as he stared down Kabuto, who Jiraiya had just stopped from attacking Tsunade.
"Look at his headband, he's a sound nin" Jiraiya said before he was pushed to the side by a charging Tsunade.
With a quick slash, the silver haired boy slashed his own arm and splattered the blood all over the now frozen Tsunade.
Before he could punch her, she was pulled back by Naruto via the retractor he always had on his arm.
"Hey, why'd she freeze, Ero-sensei?"
"Tsunade has a fear of blood" the man said grimly.
"The no 1 Medical Ninja is scared of BLOOD? That's like me being afraid of chakra, or ramen dattebayo!"
Kabuto jumped back to Orochimaru' s side as the latter started making the hand seals for summoning.
"You two deal with four eyes" Jiraiya said as he made the same hand seals before slamming his hand down to reveal….
Gamakichi?
"Kuchiyose No Jutsu"/ "KUCHIYOSE NO JUTSU!" [Summoning Jutsu] two voices called out at once.
Jiraiya blinked at the sudden change in height, and looked down to see Gamabunta facing the freshly summoned Manda.
"Huh?" he muttered.
"I figured granny's drug would mess up your control, so I started making the seals at the same time as you."
"Nice job kid! Now, get outta here. I can handle it from here."
With a nod, Naruto jumped off the huge toad in a burst of black energy that landed beside Shizune.
A person jumped off from Manda's head too, but it wasn't Kabuto.
"Uh, Hi?"
The white-haired teen just stared at him before pulling out bones from his palm.
"What the actual fu-"
Naruto was interrupted by his opponent, and had to send out a blast of chakra after deflecting the attack to jump out of his range.
"Hey now" he frowned "atleast introduce yourself before trying to kill me dattebayo."
"I am Kimimaro Kaguya, a loyal servant of Orochimaru-Sama."
"I'm Naruto Uzumaki, Chunin of Konoha."
With the formalities out of the way, the two began their fight.
Naruto sent out a flurry of wind slashes at his opponent, and to his irritation, the guy just weaved through them like he was dancing.
"Kage Bunshin No Jutsu!" [Shadow Clone Jutsu]
20 clones surrounded the two, of which 6 jumped and released bursts of wind from their kicks at Kimimaro.
"Yanagi no Mai!"[Dance of the Willow]
If Naruto could compare these movements to anything, he'd say that the guy's body moved like a tree in the wind, gently shifting directions.
It was also fast as hell.
Within the span of like 10 seconds, the guy ran through all but 3 of his clones.
Summoning 4 more clones he rushed forward to engage Kimimaro while the clones sat in the shape of a heptagon and made a few hand seals.
'that didn't work last time either Naruto, what's the point in pulling out that barrier again?'
'It'll buy me time to go 2 tails' he thought back to Liebe as he dodged a swipe before using his opponents chest as a spring board to jump back.
"Dance of the Larch."
The guy's chest suddenly erupted with bone spikes.
Naruto swore, and released wind from all over his body to fly (for barely a second) out of range again.
"Can you stop just randomly making those?"
"I refuse."
"Figures."
He thrust his twin katana down for 2 huge slashes of wind that sliced through Kimimaro' s bone swords.
His opponent threw the shard away to the ground before pulling out two more.
"I bore of your antics. I will kill you now and go back to Orochimaru-Sama."
Black lines started coming out of that mark he had on his chest that covered his whole body, and Naruto realized it must be a curse mark like Sasuke's , but under control.
"Hey, how are you controlling that thing? I've got a friend with that thing, and his just acts up randomly."
The sound ninja actually blinked before nodding slowly.
"That must be Sasuke Uchiha. One can only control this gift of Orochimaru-Sama's by completely awakening it. The one Sasuke Uchiha possesses is not awakened, so it will keep activating unless it is awakened."
"And how would he go about doing that?"
"By surrendering himself to Orochimaru-Sama. As the creator, only he can truly harness it."
"Of course" Naruto shook his head "it all just goes back to that huh."
"it's ready!" the two heard Naruto's voice call out from the side , and they turned to see the 7 clones covered in dark red chakra.
Naruto made a huge jump back using his wind chakra and landed far back just as the Shichikakukei bariashīru (heptagon barrier seal) went up.
It was the same barrier he had used against Orochimaru way back in the forest of death, except this one was reinforced with like twice the amount of chakra.
He immediately focused on his chakra.
'You ready, Kurama!?'
'LET'S DO THIS!'
Inside his mindscape, he opened the gate to the tailless state almost instantly.
As the violent chakra flood through his system, he used his own to stabilize his chakra pathways before taking a breath.
'NOW!'
With a blast of energy, the first tail emerged, and Naruto channelled most of the chakra to his arms and legs.
'You ready?'
'Give me a sec.'
He forced the chakra to slow down from the rampage it was currently going on inside his body, and follow the flow of his own chakra.
'Alright, time for the second tail.'
In another burst of chakra, Naruto's system was flooded with so much chakra he could feel it leaving the chakra pathways and be absorbed by his body.
He felt his muscles get stronger, his sense of sound and smell grow sharper, and even his blood flow faster.
'Kurama, I trust you with control of the tails.'
'Leave it to me.'
Naruto opened his eyes to see…a grey Kimimaro with a tail?
The sound-nin was slamming some sort of bone drill thing against the red barrier, and judging by the cracks, it was pretty effective.
He nodded at the clones, and all 7 of them made the same half-ram hand seal.
"KAI!"
The clones and the barrier disappeared, and Kimimaro (who had just lunged forward for another strike) was thrown off balance when there was suddenly nothing to hit.
Naruto dashed forward, unleashing a punch strong enough to send his opponent back with enough force to make a crater.
"DANCE OF THE CLEMATIS, VINE"
Naruto was suddenly pulled to the side by his tails to dodge the sudden attack.
'Pay attention!'
'Thanks. Also his bones stretch now?'
'Look closer, Naruto. That's his spine.'
Naruto blinked, before looking on to confirm that yes, Liebe was right. His opponent had pulled out his own spine and was now swinging it around.
"How are you still moving without a spine?"
"I made another one."
'He what?'
Naruto had no time to respond to his friend's statement as he weaved between slashes of the spine sword.
'It's fast, and the force behind each swing is definitely there but…'
He bat away the sword before landing another hit on Kimimaro' s chest, breaking through the bone spikes and landing a clean hit.
'Not that bad to deal with.'
