When he didn't answer immediately, Wouter kicked him on the side of his rib, which made him curl into a small ball on the asphalt road. His grunts were low but audible, while his men laughed as they circled around them like a pack of wolves.
"I said, who are you and who sent you?" Wouter said.
"It was my older sister! It was my older sister, okay!" he blurted out, once he realised standing up wasn't so easy after impact.

"Tiel's girl? Asti?" he asked, as if it was something so obvious. Wouter guessed it should be. But with everything happening on the side, it really wasn't. Just like any other member of the Sharks, Avond had enemies who held grudges against him. Anyone could have paid for private investigators.
