He was sure her stats were nothing at the moment, yet she exuded this force that broke his will, broke his concentration, and broke his reasoning. He made a costly mistake.
"In any case, will you tell me about your boss? He sounds like a 'wonderful' person." Alice said. Her tone was laced with mockery. She knew he would not say anything more but she just wanted to buy some more time.
