Though the air had cleared up, the students could not help but feel threatened and gulped down hard.
"I'm just trying to say that just as you guys have been minding your business and doing whatever you want around me till now, you can keep doing that. I will just do what I've been doing all along as well. I'll sleep when I'm bored, walk around even when I feel even more bored, and eat when I'm hungry. We're cool, so don't look at me differently."
"Ah, I understand." Clarissa suddenly said, gripping her pen tightly.
Alice was confused. What did she understand? She had been silent all through, though.
Terrance raised his hand and said,
"We will keep your secret, Alice. I speak for myself, though." He eyed the rest of the class. "Having a hidden ace up our sleeves will do us good for the sports event. So, I think it's a good idea if we don't spread the fact that we have a very strong individual in our midst."
"But the other students already know." Alice said.
