Chapter 356 - The Great Transformation and Ascension to Eternal Divinity

Rosen had transformed into all things within the Dragon Realm, while his Yinglong doppelganger sat before the Main God Computer, assisting his true form.

Through the Main God Computer and the Main God Network's control over the Dragon God's Law, the Dragon Realm began to shrink bit by bit. Eventually, it detached from its original position, rising from the surface of the New World into the Astral Plane, then breaking through into the Endless Void to conceal itself.

Completely traversing the Endless Void to leave the New World and enter the broader universe was impossible—the outermost reaches of the void were bound by the Ancient God's power, restricting all beings from escaping the New World.

But hiding within the inner layers of the Endless Void, avoiding the covetous gazes of various civilizations, was not difficult.

After all, the Yinglong doppelganger, now in control of the Dragon Realm, was equivalent to a Great True God. If it exerted all its efforts to conceal the realm, even other Great True Gods would struggle to locate it—let alone the World Will.

However, the Endless Void was far too dangerous, and the Dragon Realm could not linger too deeply for long.

The Dragon Realm's disappearance was too sudden, too swift—the True Gods of various races had no time to intercept.

The hidden Forbidden Divine Demons could have stopped it, but these "rats in the streets" dared not reveal themselves easily. The Forbidden True Gods were little better—after all, the World Will had been sealed. Without the cooperation of most Forbidden True Gods, how could such a thing have happened?

Thus, no matter how many coveted the Dragon Realm, they could only watch helplessly as it vanished.

The world would not stop turning for anyone—in fact, with fewer troublemakers stirring chaos, it gradually returned to order.

Whether it was the World Government, the various races, or even the weaker factions, demigods continuously raised their Divine Kingdoms to ascend to godhood. The number of True Gods increased rapidly in a short time, and newly ascended demigods became as numerous as fish in a river.

It was as if, suddenly, the difficulty of comprehending divine authority and mastering Laws had drastically decreased.

Even more astonishing, entirely new supernatural resources were discovered, and many long-extinct resources reappeared one after another.

For low-level practitioners, it seemed as if a golden age of cultivation had arrived.

But for the World Government and the True Gods of various races, this was merely the calm before the storm.

Divine authority and Laws were the foundation of all supernatural systems—yet their difficulty was not set in stone.

Just look at the divine seats of the Old World: by fusing Laws into them, demigods could easily ascend to True Gods.

If Laws were compared to weapons, wielding them did not require knowing how to forge them.

Whenever a supernatural era ended, whenever a dominant civilization declined, whenever a new supernatural system rose, whenever a new hegemonic civilization was born—the supernatural lifeforms of the main world would experience such explosive growth.

The architect behind this was always the World Will, maintaining balance in the world.

But this time was clearly different.

In the past, the replacement of supernatural systems and dominant civilizations occurred either because the main world's corresponding resources had been exhausted, or because a civilization threatened the World Will by attempting to survive the Tenth Cataclysm. Only then would the World Will reshuffle the entire supernatural order.

Yet the World Government was merely a Second Cataclysm civilization, and the New World's supernatural potion system still had abundant resources.

By all logic, there was no need for a system overhaul.

But the World Will was doing it anyway—and not only that, it wasn't suppressing the old system while promoting a new one.

This abnormal behavior made many True Gods realize:

This time, even they would not escape the reshuffle.

In the past, the rise of new systems had been driven by these very True Gods—eliminating the weak, preserving the strong, discarding inferior supernatural systems in favor of superior ones.

In this process, the True Gods of various races would reduce the number of powerholders and redistribute the spoils.

But now, there was no new supernatural system replacing the old one. Instead, the number of deities and True Gods across all races kept increasing. The "cake" didn't grow larger, yet those wanting a share multiplied—leading inevitably to a life-or-death struggle over dwindling resources.

Many True Gods could foresee it: the New World was heading toward an apocalyptic war engulfing all civilizations.

Just as all factions desperately strengthened themselves, another upheaval occurred.

Centered around the Sea of Ten Thousand Gods, endless darkness surged forth. The Old World began merging with the New World through this sea, as its sacred dynasties and celestial empires established footholds there, posing a massive threat to New World civilizations.

With enemies emerging in the Sea of Ten Thousand Gods, the World Government bore the brunt.

Compounding the crisis, the sea lay deep within human territory, plunging the government into simultaneous internal and external crises. While Old World practitioners were generally weaker, their sheer numbers compensated—and every sacred dynasty had its own Great True God.

As the World Government's situation worsened, yet another change unfolded.

Ancient civilizations reborn in the depths of the Spirit Realm began descending en masse to join the government.

For 20,000 years, the government had expended immense effort to block these civilizations from returning. Yet now, it was the government itself releasing them.

This paradoxical shift stemmed from cold pragmatism.

At best, the World Government had only a handful of Great True Gods on its side.

The Old World's sacred dynasties numbered in the dozens. Some of their Great True Gods had once ruled civilizations now extinct in the New World—but if lucky, those civilizations could be reborn in the Spirit Realm's depths.

By unleashing these reborn civilizations, the government successfully recruited several sacred dynasties to its cause.

Though still struggling, it barely withstood the dual pressures from within and without.

Yet any perceptive observer knew this was merely the government's last stand.

The reason was simple: the World Government's resources were already allocated.

With little growth in total resources but far more claimants—whether Spirit Realm civilizations, newly allied dynasties, or the New World's burgeoning supernatural population—unmet demands would inevitably breed unrest.

Even with vast reserves, the government could only sustain this temporarily.

A century? Manageable. A millennium? Eventually, the coffers would run dry.

Like drinking poison to quench thirst, with no way to reduce expenditures, the government had to seek new revenue.

The newly incorporated factions couldn't be freeloaders.

Thus, every resource-rich zone became a target:

New World's inner forbidden zones

Outer perilous regions

The Spirit Realm's infinite depths

Long-abandoned underground worlds

Dangers mattered little to the starving.

Those who succeeded opened new revenue streams.

Those who died... conveniently reduced expenditures.

But this bred ever more desperate outlaws, eroding the World Government's order. Outwardly, it grew stronger—yet its civilizational flame dimmed at the core.

Meanwhile, in the Void's Depths...

Rosen reached his most critical juncture.

His Yinglong doppelganger sensed it and issued a divine decree through the Main God Network:

At this moment, all believers in the Ancient God's True World, every spirit realm large and small, and even the countless faithful cultivated within the virtual spirit realms constructed by the Main God Computer received divine edicts simultaneously. Led by clergy, they began fervent prayers.

Meanwhile, the civilizational flame of the Radiant Kingdom transformed from calm to blazing intensity.

Endless faith converged upon the simulated godhead, carrying the prayers of innumerable devotees.

This served as an anchor, awakening Rosen who had become one with all things in the Dragon Realm.

His divine consciousness, dispersed throughout the realm's fabric, began coalescing under the Yinglong doppelganger's guidance.

Now, the entire Dragon Realm was his body.

He willed this cosmic form to reshape into humanoid structure. The Dragon Realm itself condensed into a colossal titan spanning millions of miles within the void—every mountain, river and atom becoming building blocks for his new divine vessel. As infinite faith washed over him, his divinity ignited into sacred flames.

Though seemingly straightforward, this step proved perilous for demigods.

Losing clarity of mind risked having one's divine consciousness eroded by faith, reducing the ascendant to a mere puppet of believers' collective will.

Yet Rosen faced no such danger.

Having mastered Ancient God's Will and Indomitable Will, with his divinity tempered to 15 Growth Points, even True Gods might pale in mental fortitude. Faith's influence couldn't touch him.

Thus he effortlessly kindled his sacred flames.

But these flames were merely catalysts—true ignition came from divinity and Law Authority.

The more Laws mastered, the fiercer the sacred fire.

Rosen commanded over ten fundamental Laws and thousands of subsidiary Authorities—some self-cultivated, others redeemed through the Hunter's Map, but most absorbed during his cosmic merger with the Dragon Realm's essence.

Such profusion of Authorities birthed conflagration beyond measure.

His sacred flames tore through the simulated godhead's constraints, setting his Sea of Consciousness ablaze before engulfing his entire form. The fire then turned inward, tempering the divine essence within the godhead itself.

For deities, mastering Laws proved arduous—but Authorities came easily.

Most mundane Authorities could be grasped at Sequence 3, with Sequence 1s readily commanding multitudes.

Yet few demigods pursued this path.

Ordinary ascendants avoided distraction.

Forbidden Sequence practitioners could wield hundreds of Authorities—but none could withstand the resultant inferno's self-immolation.

Had Rosen not possessed the Bloodline Godhead, had he not merged the Dragon Realm into his Divine Domain as a cosmic vessel...

The flames he'd kindled would have reduced him to ashes.

Under continuous divine fire tempering, his million-mile titan form gradually compacted.

Impurities burned away, leaving only refined quintessence.

His simulated godhead, bathed in eternal flames, fused with purified faith residues to construct a true godhead at its core.

This nascent godhead stabilized the sacred fire, allowing controlled tempering of divine essence and soul.

As the refinement neared completion, Rosen stoked the flames further.

Through Miracle Flame, he channeled the Radiant Kingdom's civilizational fire into the mix. His Primordial Bloodline's assimilative power merged sacred, civilizational and miracle flames into one, conducting deeper purification.

During this process, the flames gradually harmonized with his divine essence.

Finally, the once-uncontrollable conflagration answered his will like a obedient limb.

The sacred flames were lit, the simulated godhead reshaped, his body transformed into a divine vessel, and his soul into a divine spirit. By all measures, he had successfully ascended to godhood—yet two crucial steps remained: advancing his supernatural sequence and establishing his Divine Kingdom.

No potion was needed for this ascension from Sequence 1 to deity.

Or rather, the accumulated power from Sequences 9 through 1 itself became the "potion."

Take the Painter Sequence as an example: all progression before godhood followed the same path.

But to ascend from Sequence 1, a Painter must blaze their own trail using their accumulated foundation.

With a single thought, Rosen initiated the fusion of all abilities from his Noble, Painter, and Hunter Sequences. The deeper his foundation, the more potent the transformation of his supernatural quintessence—and the greater the enhancement to his godhead.

Just as the three supernatural quintessences within his godhead were about to complete their metamorphosis, birthing three innate Sequence 0 skills—

The Bloodline Godhead suddenly stirred.

It traveled through his bloodstream to his brain, then entered his Sea of Consciousness, pressing against and merging with the simulated godhead.

The spiritual godhead and material godhead began fusing, mediated by divine essence.

Detecting no adverse effects, Rosen actively facilitated their union.

Expecting resistance, he found instead a seamless convergence—as natural as water finding its level.

When the fusion concluded, only one entity remained in his Sea of Consciousness:

A colorless, transparent, radiant godhead.

[Eternal Godhead: Sequence 0 Deity Godhead]

[True Name: Rosen Saint Howard...]

[Divine Essence: 150]

[Life Essence: 150]

[Subsidiary Flame: Eternal Sacred Flame]

[Eternal Origin: Primordial (Mimicry, Assimilation, Plunder, Evolution)]

[Eternal Law: Primordial Law]

[Deity Sequence: Primordial Sequence]

[Eternal Divine Art: Limited Omniscience and Omnipotence]

Studying these attributes, Rosen found the latter entries perplexing.

After extensive analysis, understanding dawned:

His Eternal Godhead meant only Eternal Lifeforms could destroy it.

His Eternal Sacred Flame could never be extinguished by non-Eternal beings.

His Primordial Origin had gained a new eternal ability: Mimicry, alongside its original three.

All Laws and Authorities he'd mastered were now unified under Primordial Law—a unique system belonging solely to him, transcending both old and new worlds.

This meant he'd achieved something normally exclusive to Great True Gods: creating his own Law.

Primordial Law could:

Plunder any Law or Authority

Evolve Authorities directly into Laws

Assimilate and Mimic all encountered Laws

Mastering it equated to mastering all Laws—even those of Great True Gods could be replicated.

The same principle applied to supernatural sequences—which were, at their core, methodologies for wielding different Law Authorities.

The Primordial Sequence could assimilate all supernatural sequences. Any ability, once exposed to his Primordial Law, could be effortlessly replicated through the eternal divine art of Limited Omniscience and Omnipotence—allowing him to master every supernatural skill across all sequences.

Yet Rosen had no time to further study this omniscience. One final step remained in his divine ascension.

In an instant, he appeared in the Ancient God's True World.

His divine consciousness enveloped it.

His Eternal Sacred Flame engulfed it.

His Primordial Origin merged with it.

His Primordial Law and infinite faith poured into its very fabric.

Finally, through sheer will, he dragged the entire Ancient God's True World into his Sea of Consciousness, initiating their gradual fusion.

He had considered adopting the Ancient God's path—becoming one with all things in the True World.

But that would make the realm his physical body.

When assuming human form, every lifeform within would dissolve into his flesh—a harvest mirroring the Ancient God's methods.

Rosen rejected this.

He desired faith, not the consumption of living beings.

Thus he chose a different path:

His Divine Domain would merge with the Dragon Realm, following the Ancient God's physical path.

The Ancient God's True World would fuse with his Sea of Consciousness, spiritualizing into a divine kingdom akin to the Spirit Realm.

Yet ultimately, this too emulated the Ancient God—just a more refined version.

The Ancient God had two phases:

The Old World—complete manifestation as all things, where its awakening meant universal annihilation.

Advantage: Maximum harvest of cultivated civilizations.

Flaw: Required re-manifestation after each harvest.

The New World—where the Spirit Realm's creation allowed something unprecedented.

Now, even if the Ancient God awakened to reap all life in the New World, the Spirit Realm might endure—abnormally capable of resurrecting perished civilizations.

Rosen speculated this was the Ancient God's evolution:

From one-time harvests to a sustainable cycle—hence the Spirit Realm's existence.

Thus, his choice to fuse the Ancient God's True World with his consciousness as a divine kingdom.

As the realm merged seamlessly with his Sea of Consciousness under the Primordial's assimilative power, Rosen's godhead became a sun illuminating this inner universe—completing his metamorphosis into a deity surpassing all predecessors.
