Chapter 371 - Fairy Dragon Goddess and the Doomsday Fate Tablet

Inside the Mysterious Study Room, Rosen sat on the sofa and, with a look of disappointment, set down the Biography of the Nightmare Dragon Spider.

This book, with the Nightmare Dragon Spider as the protagonist, recorded its entire life. Even the clones of the Nightmare Dragon Spider that it had long forgotten or didn't even know the location of—memories it had erased from itself—had been fully restored in this book. Exterminating the Nightmare Dragon Spider down to its roots using this book would be effortless.

However, the book hadn't generated a Book World, as the Nightmare Dragon Spider had experienced far too much in its lifetime. If a Book World were to be created, it would have to encompass nearly half of the New World. That was clearly beyond what the Omniscient Bookshelf could accomplish, so this book was unable to generate a Book World.

After studying the Omniscient Bookshelf, Rosen discovered that a Book World could not exceed the size of a kingdom. Moreover, generating one consumed a vast amount of divine power, making it far from a replacement for Spiritual Realm Paintings.

At present, the greatest value of the Omniscient Bookshelf lay in its ability to complete information. Additionally, through the books on the shelf, it was possible to indirectly manipulate the fate of the characters within.

Over the past few days, Rosen had been using his Root Sequence to simulate various Extraordinary Sequences. He discovered that Novelist, Playwright, Director, and Historian were the Extraordinary Sequences that could most effectively leverage the value contained within these books. If he combined this ability with his Omniscient Magic Eye, he could manipulate the fate of all living beings without ever leaving his room.

However, upon further thought, Rosen abandoned this insane idea. The Omniscient Bookshelf of the Mysterious Study Room was indeed powerful, yet Apocalypse had still died in obscurity. I don't want to become the second Apocalypse, so I can't rely entirely on the Mysterious Study Room.

Casually, he returned the Biography of the Nightmare Dragon Spider to the Omniscient Bookshelf and pulled out another book—the Observations of the Void Worm.

This book wasn't composed of text but was purely made up of illustrations. Since Void Worms lacked intelligence and language—and even roamed the edges of the world, beyond the reach of Fate's Laws—it was only natural that the book contained only illustrations. However, this also meant Rosen couldn't manipulate the fate of the Void Worms through it.

That didn't mean the book was worthless, though. The illustrations recorded the Void Worms' observations, including encounters with True God Void Worms. By using these illustrations, Rosen could leverage the Gate of Crossing of the Mysterious Study Room to pinpoint their exact locations.

In areas covered by the Main God Network, the Gate of Crossing of the Mysterious Study Room was definitely not as convenient as data transmission. But in places beyond the reach of the Main God Network, the Gate of Crossing revealed its true advantage.

Rosen directly locked onto an illustration of a True God Void Worm, then pushed open the door and stepped into the deep void beyond the Astral Realm.

Not far ahead, just as depicted in the illustration, was a True God Void Worm. Surrounding it were thousands of Void Worms. Fortunately, there were no Great True God-level Void Worms—that was good news.

Rosen immediately fixed his gaze on his target and used the illustrations in his book to activate Living Model Immobilization. Now, he could perceive everything as human-shaped, so even insects could be treated as human models for drawing.

Then, he activated Descent of the Painting Realm. The Painting Domain descended through the book's illustrations.

Finally, he added Original Painting Sealing Art. In an instant, the space-time around the Void Worms collapsed dimensionally, compressing them into paper-like forms before sealing them inside the book's illustrations.

A swarm of Void Worms was incredibly powerful, but an individual Void Worm was much weaker. A prepared Void Worm could be terrifyingly strong, while an unprepared one of the same rank was far weaker.

Void Worms were most adept at manipulating Void Storms, but these storms were like the waves of the Yangtze River—one pushing the next, each stronger than the last. It took a long time for a Void Storm to build up to its full destructive potential.

Rosen never gave the Void Worms the chance to manipulate a Void Storm, which was why he was able to capture them so easily.

In the True Realm of the Ancient Gods, Rosen once again transformed into all things, turning the Heart of the Ancient God into a Source Blood Dragon Pool.

With the thousandfold time acceleration inside the Fruit of the Historical World, the Dragon Maiden had already finished digesting the gains from the Goddess of Magic and the Nightmare Dragon Spider. When she saw the sealed Void Worm, she immediately leaped into the Source Blood Dragon Pool, eagerly awaiting her meal.

With a thought, Rosen opened a spatial gate leading to the Fruit of the Life World.

The Life Mother Tree, Iris, had already received the message. Taking the sealed True God Void Worm, she carefully used the divine-level alchemy of the Miracle Treasure Soul Hands to separate the soul and spiritual essence of the Life Worm.

Rosen then took out nine Miracle Bottles and began preparing the final Bloodline Sublimation Potion.

The main ingredient of this potion was the Fairy Dragon Orb, with nine auxiliary materials: the Laws of Elements, the Laws of Magic, the Laws of Nightmares, the Source of Life extracted from the Void Worm's corpse, the Source Blood Dragon Orb, the Dragon Maiden's own bloodline essence, the Source of Compatibility, the Source of Plunder, and the Source of Evolution.

The Miracle Bottles quickly fused the potion materials, and the Dragon Maiden swallowed the potion, igniting her divine fire to condense a divinity.

The process was shockingly smooth—after all, she had mastered three different laws.

[Fairy Dragon Divinity: Sequence 0 Godhood]

[True Name of Divinity: Dragon Maiden Howard...]

[Divine Essence: 140]

[Attached Divine Fire: Elemental Divine Fire]

[Laws: Elemental Law, Magic Law, Nightmare Law]

[Godly Sequence: Fairy Dragon, Magician]

[Innate Divine Art: Draconic Incantation]

After familiarizing herself with her divinity, the Dragon Maiden began using the resources Rosen had prepared in advance to establish her divine kingdom.

When dragons created their divine kingdoms, they always used their own dragon nests as the foundation.

For the Dragon Maiden, her dragon nest was the Fairy Dragon Orb that had given birth to her true body.

However, the Fairy Dragon Orb was merely a Sequence 3 Miracle Treasure. It wasn't qualified to become a divine kingdom on its own. Moreover, the nature of a Miracle Treasure was difficult to alter, so conventional methods wouldn't work to turn it into a divine kingdom.

The potion the Dragon Maiden drank contained the power of three Sources.

The total amount of these Sources exceeded what was needed to condense her divinity—the excess was meant for the Fairy Dragon Orb.

The Dragon Maiden absorbed the Fairy Dragon Orb into her body and used the remaining power of the potion to drive it to absorb the three Eternal Sources. The essence of a miracle was Eternal Source, and the quantity of Eternal Source determined the rank of a miracle.

Now that the Fairy Dragon Orb had absorbed the Eternal Source, it began evolving into a higher-grade Miracle Treasure.

During this evolution, the Dragon Maiden manipulated the Fairy Dragon Orb to devour the Magic Divine Kingdom of the Goddess of Magic and the Nightmare Abyss of the Nightmare Dragon Spider, using them as materials for establishing her divine kingdom. In the process of upgrading the Fairy Dragon Orb, she also completed the creation of her divine kingdom.

[Fairy Dragon Orb: Miracle Divine Kingdom]

[Rank: Sequence 0]

[Miracle Attribute: Consumes Eternal Source to recruit Miracle Fairy Dragons]

[Miracle Traits: Dragon Nest Divine Kingdom, Elemental Sphere, Primal Nightmare, Void Phase, Sole Existence in Heaven and Earth, Eternally Indestructible]

The Dragon Maiden joyfully held the Fairy Dragon Orb in her hands, lifting it toward Rosen.

Rosen took the Fairy Dragon Orb and examined it carefully. Now that it had ascended to Sequence 0, its attributes were even better than expected.

Originally, it could only summon a single Miracle Fairy Dragon—the Dragon Maiden herself—but now there was no limit. Like the Ashen Hive, it could mass-produce Miracle Fairy Dragons, effectively functioning as a Sequence 0 miracle-class troop-building structure.

Inside the Fairy Dragon Orb was a self-contained world. Its outer layer formed the Dragon Nest Divine Kingdom, an environment perfectly suited for dragonkind.

The inner layer combined the Nightmare Abyss with the Dragon Maiden's innate mastery over Primal Dreaming, ultimately forming the Primal Nightmare. The Primal Nightmare could absorb and strip away the souls and spirituality of the dead, transforming them into soul-type dragon-kin retainers exclusive to the Dragon Maiden.

Beyond that, the Fairy Dragon Orb could manifest as an Elemental Sphere, enhancing Draconic Incantations while providing an additional layer of defense.

This defense was equivalent to the Dragon Nest Divine Kingdom's fortifications—even a True God would struggle to breach the Elemental Sphere's passive defenses to harm the Dragon Maiden.

Lastly, there was the Void Phase—the Fairy Dragon Orb's one and only unique miracle trait.

Previously, it required a spatial coordinate to teleport, but now, as long as the coordinate was known, it could freely traverse space.

Space-traveling abilities weren't rare, but their true power depended on their priority level.

At its current strength, Void Phase could completely ignore the spatial seals of Great True Gods.

While the Dragon Maiden wasn't yet a match for a Great True God, she had already surpassed ordinary True Gods. Even if she encountered a Great True God, she could use Void Phase to escape successfully. Yet, this wasn't even her greatest gain.

As a Miracle Lifeform, the most significant benefit was that her Fantasy Armament miracle trait had reached Sequence 0.

Many miracle traits were unique and powerful, but miracle artifacts below a certain rank could all be enhanced to Sequence 0 in the Dragon Maiden's hands. This meant she possessed power similar to a Miracle Sequence—without any limit on the number of miracle artifacts she could wield.

The process of turning the Ancient God's Heart into the Source Blood Dragon Pool and assisting the Dragon Maiden's ascension had consumed a tremendous amount of resources.

However, the most significant depletion was the consumption of Eternal Source. After retracting the Source Blood Dragon Pool, even Rosen felt a wave of weakness.

To compensate for the loss, he immediately dove into the Blood Sea outside the Ancient God's Core, plundering the Ancient God's blood.

The Dragon Maiden wasn't the only one who needed the Source Blood Dragon Pool for ascension. His Bronze Dragon clone and Yinglong clone would also require vast amounts of its power. Their demand for Eternal Source was just as great.

In particular, recruiting Miracle Fairy Dragons with the Fairy Dragon Orb consumed Eternal Source at an absurd rate—it was practically a bottomless pit.

Rosen was already thinking about how to secure a more reliable source of Eternal Source.

The Heaven-Piercing Pillar contained Eternal Source, as did the Blood Sea he was currently in, which specialized in plundering Eternal Source. Meanwhile, the Dark Sun of the Old World contained Evolutionary Eternal Source and Dark Sun Eternal Source. However, collecting even a small amount often took decades.

Rosen took out a miracle artifact. In truth, the objects that contained the most Eternal Source were miracle artifacts themselves.

But reverting an eternally indestructible miracle artifact back into pure Eternal Source was an incredibly difficult task.

While they were called "eternally indestructible," this was only true within the realms of the New and Old Worlds.

If they were completely severed from both realms, their unique miracle trait of eternal indestructibility would cease to exist.

However, defining the exact degree of "complete severance" was tricky—even Rosen's Ancient God True Realm couldn't strip a miracle artifact of its eternal trait.

After careful consideration, he decided to set his sights on the Dark Sun.

His Dark Sun Heavenly Eye could directly affect and manipulate the Dark Sun, allowing him to extract more Eternal Source from it. Not only would this sustain his needs, but it could also make his Dark Sun Heavenly Eye even stronger. His only concern was whether this seemingly heaven-sent opportunity came with hidden dangers.

Just as Rosen was preparing to head to the Old World, planning to proceed cautiously and retreat when necessary, an unexpected upheaval in the New World disrupted his plans.

The gods of the Astral Realm were actually attempting to reassemble the Fate Tablet.

This matter was, to some extent, related to Rosen.

His revelation that Hell harbored an Undying Evil God had thrown the Astral Realm's foreign True Gods into a state of panic.

The World Government had Great True Gods behind it. The Evil Gods were backed by Undying Gods and Demons. The Pantheon Sea region alone housed dozens of Great True Gods. While some foreign True Gods in the Astral Realm had already pledged allegiance to certain Great True Gods, these alliances were fragile at best.

To further strengthen their power, the foreign True Gods decided to reassemble the Fate Tablet.

It was a great idea—the Fate Tablet was a miracle artifact of the Great True God level.

However, its fragments were scattered far and wide. Some were in the hands of True Gods, others were sealed in unknown locations. Without every piece, the tablet would remain incomplete, and Rosen had no intention of surrendering the fragment he possessed.

So, while he was aware of the situation, he didn't take it seriously at first.

He even thought about waiting until the tablet was nearly reconstructed before swooping in to steal it.

Yet, while he was still indifferent, the fragment of the Fate Tablet sealed deep within the Vault of Completion suddenly vanished.

The Astral True Gods had used some miracle artifact to forcibly recall all the scattered fragments just as the tablet was nearing completion.

In a single night, the Fate Tablet was fully restored.

What's more, after being reassembled, the Fate Tablet rapidly transcended the Great True God level and reached the rank of an Undying God-Demon.

The Fate Tablet, the Divine Secret Archive, and the Main God Computer—these were all relics of Apocalypse.

In fact, according to legend, Apocalypse had died at the hands of True Gods precisely because of the Fate Tablet.

Ever since learning that Apocalypse was an Undying God-Demon, Rosen knew that legend was false.

However, he never expected the Fate Tablet to evolve into a miracle artifact of the Undying God-Demon rank.

Nearly all the Astral Gods and deities had merged their divinity and law authorities into the Fate Tablet—even some Great True Gods had done so. As a result, the Fate Tablet's power surged across a critical threshold, evolving into an Undying God-Demon level miracle artifact.

For a brief moment, all the foreign True Gods and deities were united as one, bound together by the Fate Tablet.

However, that unity crumbled almost as quickly as it had formed.

The moment the Fate Tablet ascended, the Pantheon—the organization of the gods—collapsed into chaos.

[Fate Tablet: Miracle Artifact]

[Rank: Immortal God-Demon]

[Miracle Attributes: Can infinitely bear spirituality and law authorities to form a True Name of Fate]

[Miracle Traits: Oath of Fate, Rebirth of Fate, Sovereignty of Fate, Plunder of Fate, Sole Existence in Heaven and Earth, Eternally Indestructible]

The True Name of Fate was the medium through which the Fate Tablet controlled the gods.

However, by utilizing the Oath of Fate, as long as the Fate Tablet remained without a master, all deities and True Gods who had formed a True Name of Fate could establish pacts through the oath and collectively govern the Fate Tablet.

Historically, the Fate Tablet had been shattered because the World Will did not permit its continued existence in one piece.

The miracle trait Rebirth of Fate allowed beings tied to a True Name of Fate to resurrect through the Fate Tablet upon death. Everyone had at least one free resurrection—essentially granting them an extra life. Thus, both the Oath of Fate and the Rebirth of Fate were purely beneficial to the gods.

Sovereignty of Fate was the Fate Tablet's unique miracle trait at the Great True God level.

Through this trait, it could enslave any being bound by a True Name of Fate. Under the agreements made through the Oath of Fate, all deities and True Gods had voting rights, and unless someone broke the Oath, a vote was required to determine whether to activate Sovereignty of Fate.

At first, everything seemed normal. But when the Fate Tablet ascended, it birthed a new, exclusive trait—Plunder of Fate.

This miracle trait specifically targeted those with a True Name of Fate. If two such deities fought to the death, the victor could seize everything from the fallen, integrating their essence into themselves—including divinity, memories, laws, and more.

By simply killing one another, deities could rapidly ascend to True Godhood.

True Gods, in turn, could use Plunder of Fate to ascend to Great True Godhood.

And if Great True Gods slaughtered each other, an Undying God-Demon might be born.

After prying this information from a True God with his Omniscient Magic Eye, Rosen's first thought was—This is a deathmatch breeding ground.

The Fate Tablet now combined the effects of the Hunter's Map and the Twilight Battlefield, except it was even more ruthless than the former and more absolute than the latter.

"Could it be because I have the Hunter's Map and the Twilight Battlefield?"

This thought crossed Rosen's mind.

Perhaps because he had monopolized the Hunter's Map but hadn't unleashed mass slaughter in the New World…

Perhaps because he had taken control of the Twilight Battlefield, preventing the bloodshed those two relics were meant to incite…

This might have led to the birth of Plunder of Fate, a force designed to lure and force the gods of the New World into mutual destruction.

Thus, the reassembly and evolution of the Fate Tablet—perhaps it was all orchestrated by the World Will in the shadows.

Once word of Plunder of Fate spread, the Astral Realm descended into chaos within days.

Deities were being slaughtered one after another—many perishing within their own divine kingdoms.

Under normal circumstances, a god defending their own divine kingdom would be incredibly difficult to overthrow, even for a True God.

At the very least, launching a silent and seamless invasion was near impossible—unless multiple True Gods joined forces.

The remaining deities, sensing their impending doom, scrambled for protection. Those belonging to races with True Gods could still seek shelter under them. But deities from races without a True God? They had no choice but to band together and assault other gods. They had already realized—if they couldn't become True Gods, they would be nothing but fodder.

Thus, divine slaughter ran rampant in the Astral Realm, while True Gods schemed and struck from the shadows.

At this rate, in less than a month, all deities in the Astral Realm would either be dead or have successfully ascended to True Godhood through Plunder of Fate.

Using his Omniscient Magic Eye, Rosen had already uncovered the plans of the Astral True Gods.

They intended to sacrifice a portion of deities, allowing others to ascend to True Gods. Then, they would force the World Government and the deities of the Old World to bind themselves to the Fate Tablet, acquiring True Names of Fate. At the same time, they would encourage all Sequence 1 demigods to ascend to godhood.

This would ensure an endless influx of new gods in both the New World and the Old World.

From there, gods would slaughter each other to ascend to True Godhood. The old True Gods would prey upon the newly ascended ones to strengthen themselves. Once the old True Gods reached the Great True God level, they would hunt down the newly ascended Great True Gods—continuing the cycle to climb toward transcendence.

Rosen no longer had any doubts.

This was clearly an open conspiracy orchestrated by the World Will.

The opportunity for transcendence lay before them, but at the cost of endless bloodshed among the extraordinary.
