Kelsie didn't know when she chucked.
"The audacity of this thug."
Bruce's ears ticked.
"What did you just say to me?"
She pushed Jett's hands away to stare at Bruce, clicking her tongue.
"You're a thug in a fancy suit. No wonder the principal is so scared of you and why you're kissing the arse of your brother-in-law."
Bruce felt the back of his neck, lips twitching in anger.
"I must give it to you, you're quite intelligent to have gotten that out of me pretty fast. How unfortunate no other person will be able to hear those words from that pretty mouth of yours."
"Pretty mouth?" Jett impulsively picked another apple and abruptly tossed it towards Bruce.
Bruce didn't expect such a petty move. Hence, failed to move out of the way on time.
The apple bruised the space in-between his brows, making him stagger backward in pain.
A fuming Jett got on his feet to properly glare at Bruce.
