The following morning, Kelsie had just stepped into the building when she was called in for a peer review.
Kelvin Reynolds and some senior doctors waited for her on the podium.
As she walked toward them, her eyes naturally fell on the middle-aged man seated at the front, gnashing his teeth like some wild animal barely holding it together.
The mommy she climbed onto the podium, Kelvin Reynolds directly started the review.
"On November 19th, 9pm, a 19-year-old girl sauntered into the hospital asking for Dr. Kelsie Sutton."
"Despite being told the doctor was about to get off work by the nurses on night shift, she insisted. She even offered to pay more instead of being referred to another doctor."
He then paused and turned to face her squarely, "Doctor Sutton, remind us again, what exactly is this surgery Karen Kunstler wanted you to perform on her so late at night that you couldn't wait to get permission from her guardians?"
