Inside the locker room, Jesse sat on the floor, knees drawn to his chest as he stared into nothing.
Hearing the door open, he hurriedly buried his head in-between his legs and shook his head vigorously.
"I don't care what you say, I'm not participating!"
For three seconds, he heard nothing.
Just as he was about to raise his head to see if there was really no one in the room with him, he heard approaching footsteps and buried his head again.
"For some reason, knowing you throw a bigger tantrum at school besides when you're with me, makes me relieved."
Jesse's brows knitted into a frown hearing the voice he least expected.
Glancing behind him, he ignored Jett who was leaning on a locker and searched the room with his eyes for the teacher earlier.
When he didn't see him anywhere, he shifted his gaze back to Jett, squinting his eyes at him.
