Chapter 197 - Chapter 113: Saitama’s Blood and the Uninvited Guest

Chapter 113: Saitama's Blood and the Uninvited Guest

Time in the illusionary space seemed indefinite.

Yet in reality, it passed in an instant.

Saitama snapped back to consciousness and abruptly retreated, distancing himself quickly from Chu Yang, a trace of fear in his eyes.

Though his body remained unscathed, the pain he experienced in that strange place had felt overwhelmingly real, making it impossible to discern illusion from reality.

Ever since losing his hair, Saitama hadn't felt fear for a long time.

"Sensei, you don't look so good. Did something happen?"

Genos looked at Saitama with concern. He had only seen a brief interaction between the two before Saitama backed away as if facing a dire threat.

"It's nothing."

Saitama took a deep breath, his expression gradually returning to normal.

"Gentlemen, the House of Evolution is now my private property. You're not welcome here for the time being."

"If you're really keen on visiting, please make an appointment in advance."

Chu Yang's tone was teasing as he effectively dismissed them. Then, pulling out his phone, he checked the time and waved it at Saitama. "Friendly reminder, the supermarket's big sale ends soon. If you don't go now, you'll miss it."

Saitama's eyes widened, and the shadow of the earlier encounter vanished instantly, replaced by the thought of the supermarket sale.

"Damn it! I forgot something so important!"

He clutched his head in despair.

"Sensei, if we leave now, we can still make it."

Genos reminded him from the side.

With a sudden spark of vitality in his eyes, Saitama turned and dashed off without hesitation.

Genos took a few steps forward, then paused, turning to glance at Chu Yang.

In that brief moment when his teacher was dazed, he thought he had seen Chu Yang take something from Saitama.

But now Chu Yang had already entered the building, leaving only a vague silhouette behind.

Was I imagining things?

Genos hesitated for a moment before hurrying to catch up with Saitama.

---

Back in the underground laboratory, Chu Yang set up three layers of barriers at the entrance: one based on ninjutsu, another on jujutsu, and a third using kido.

In this world, no one could simultaneously break through all three barriers.

Unless, of course, that bald-headed Saitama decided to get serious and punch through them.

From today, the House of Evolution would serve as Chu Yang's personal research lab.

"Master, what's that in your hand?"

"I didn't notice it earlier."

Sonic observed the crimson liquid inside a test tube Chu Yang was holding. It seemed to be someone's blood.

Chu Yang swirled the test tube with a smile. "I took this while someone wasn't paying attention. It holds the ultimate secret of this world."

Sonic didn't entirely understand but nodded seriously with a focused expression.

---

Upon returning to the underground lab, Sonic found Dr. Genus holding a set of documents, his eyes filled with fervor and obsession.

These documents detailed the Lineage Factor Technology, given to him by Chu Yang earlier.

In such a short time, Genus had only read the introduction but was already overwhelmed by its genius.

"This Lineage Factor Technology surpasses my biological modification techniques in every way…"

"This is the kind of science that can change the world!"

Genus slowly approached Chu Yang and dropped to his knees without hesitation, his face displaying unprecedented sincerity.

"It is an honor to participate in your research. I believe that one day, you will become the new god of this world!"

Sonic had no idea what monumental discoveries were recorded in those documents. Yet, for some reason, he felt as though his lifelong dreams were on the brink of realization.

To delve deeper into the Lineage Factor Technology, the lab's current equipment fell far short of requirements. Everything needed to be rebuilt from scratch.

Fortunately, Chu Yang's earnings from being a hero were about to come in handy.

---

Labor resources within the House of Evolution were nearly wiped out, leaving only a handful of monsters.

Apart from the armored gorilla, the others were mostly unreliable.

Left with no choice, Chu Yang resorted to his usual method: summoning shadow clones to handle the labor.

Days turned into weeks.

When the new lab was finally completed, Chu Yang began analyzing his own Ōtsutsuki bloodline, reverse-engineering its power.

Genus didn't fully understand the purpose behind this. However, his reverence for Chu Yang had reached the point where he couldn't muster any doubts.

Eventually, six vials of genetic serums were placed before Sonic:

The Senju Clan

The Uchiha Clan

The Hyūga Clan

The Taketori Clan

The Golden Horn and Silver Horn Clan

The Uzumaki Clan

Chu Yang provided a brief explanation and left the choice to Sonic.

"Master, which bloodline allows for learning the most ninjutsu?"

Sonic asked excitedly.

"If it's about learning ability, then it would be the Uchiha Clan…"

Chu Yang instantly understood Sonic's thought process. Sonic wasn't seeking the strongest techniques but rather the ability to master the most techniques.

Perhaps Sonic believed that the strongest ninja was the one who knew the most ninjutsu.

No matter what, Sonic made his decision.

"I'll say it again—this might kill you."

"Master, power gained at the cost of life is the most likely to be stronger."

Sonic's response carried no hesitation.

---

Dr. Genus led Sonic to a massive device and gestured for him to enter. Without a hint of reluctance, Sonic complied.

This machine was an invention Chu Yang developed, based on Genus's biological modification equipment and infused with this world's biotechnology.

Its effectiveness was uncertain.

Initially, Chu Yang had planned to capture some monsters to test it. However, Sonic insisted on being the first experimental subject.

He didn't want anyone else to obtain ninja powers before him.

Sonic's obsessive nature was something Chu Yang couldn't change, so he let him proceed.

Once Sonic entered the machine, Chu Yang inserted the test tube containing the Uchiha lineage factor into the device's slot and silently awaited activation.

Dr. Genus, trembling with excitement, couldn't help but laugh. However, upon noticing Chu Yang's calm expression, he quickly restrained himself.

Unbeknownst to Genus, Chu Yang's outward calmness mirrored the depth of his inner anticipation.

If the experiment succeeded, it would signify that Chu Yang had personally altered the world's rules.

For someone capable of traversing countless worlds, this held monumental significance.
