Chapter 154 - The Lov easter egg hunt part 1

Chapter 1: Bunny Suits and Blackmail

The League of Villains' hideout, a dilapidated warehouse on the outskirts of Mustafu, was hardly a festive place. Dust motes danced in the dim light filtering through grimy windows, illuminating the peeling paint and the unsettling collection of stolen artifacts and villainous paraphernalia. Christmas was a silent, brooding affair. New Year's passed with barely a grunt. But Easter…Easter was apparently Toga Himiko's Everest.

"C'mon, guys! It'll be fun!" Toga chirped, bouncing on the balls of her feet, her eyes gleaming with a manic energy that bordered on terrifying. "An Easter egg hunt! We can fill them with candy! And maybe…blood packets!"

"NO BLOOD PACKETS!" Shigaraki Tomura screeched, his voice cracking with irritation. The leader of the League, with his perpetually itchy skin and a hand clutched to his face, looked like he was about to disintegrate the very idea of springtime. "This is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. We're villains! We conquer, we destroy, we don't…hunt for pastel-colored garbage!"

"Yeah, Toga is right!" Twice chimed in, his personality fracturing as he continued, "This is brilliant! We can ambush heroes while they're looking for eggs! No, that's too cliché! Ambush them dressed as bunnies!"

Dabi leaned against a graffiti-covered wall, arms crossed, a plume of smoke curling from his perpetually burning skin. He remained silent, observing the chaos with a detached amusement that masked a deeper disinterest. He couldn't care less about Easter, eggs, or the League's bizarre attempts at forced camaraderie.

All For One, the mastermind behind the League, observed the scene with an unsettlingly calm demeanor. He was usually orchestrating elaborate plans and manipulating events from the shadows. However, today, he seemed…amused?

"Perhaps," he said, his voice a low rumble that silenced the squabbling villains. "A little…recreation wouldn't hurt. It could even be...enlightening."

Shigaraki sputtered, clearly incensed. "Enlightening? What are you talking about, Sensei? We have plans to execute! Heroes to dismantle!"

All For One chuckled. "Consider it a…team-building exercise. I will hide the eggs. The rest of you will find them. There will be prizes."

The promise of prizes seemed to sway even Shigaraki, whose interest was piqued by the possibility of acquiring some rare, potentially destructive quirk-enhancing artifact.

And so, against all odds, the League of Villains found themselves preparing for an Easter egg hunt. Toga, with Twice's fractured assistance, spent the afternoon dyeing eggs in lurid, unsettling colors. Shigaraki, grumbling the entire time, was tasked with procuring candy (which he promptly stole from a group of unsuspecting children). Dabi remained uninvolved, finding solace in the shadows, only occasionally offering sarcastic commentary.

As night fell, All For One finished hiding the eggs. He had chosen locations throughout the city, knowing full well the chaos this would inevitably cause. The prizes, he assured them, ranged from cash and candy to more…substantial rewards. He omitted the small, black device he had hidden inside one specific egg. A device that could potentially amplify quirks to dangerous levels. A contingency plan, for…emergencies.

The hunt began.
