Another Ruler slammed his hand on the table, gritting his teeth. "I can't believe it… the prophecy is really coming true."
Some time ago, they had noticed a shift in time—something unnatural, something beyond their control. Alarmed, they had used one of their ancient artifacts to glimpse into the future, uncovering a prophecy that chilled even them.
It spoke of the rise of another Absolute Ruler, one whose power would be linked to time itself—a being destined to surpass even them.
The Brightest Fragment of Luminosity, the strongest of them, clenched his fists.
"He is the reincarnation of the Absolute Being we killed… and now, he is on the path to becoming Absolute once more."
Another Ruler stood up, his divine energy flaring with urgency. "We fought to free ourselves from the Absolute Being's rule, and now another one has appeared?! We cannot allow this!"
The Rulers looked at each other, their once-unshakable confidence beginning to waver.
"We have to kill him. Before it's too late."
"He has just fought the Monarch of Destruction, he must be weakened! Let's kill him now!" one of the Rulers shouted, slamming his fist down.
The others nodded, their divine forms rising as they gathered their immense celestial power.
"Prepare the portal," another commanded.
A massive golden sigil formed in the center of their council chamber, twisting and crackling with energy. Unlike before, now that Antares was dead, nothing was stopping them from directly invading the Monarchs' world.
The Rulers stepped forward, their forms glowing like miniature suns, as they rushed through the portal at full speed.
All Nine Rulers had descended.
Their target?
Matt.
Their mission?
Eliminate him before he becomes an Absolute Being.
The final battle was about to begin.
BOOOOOM!!!
A massive golden portal tore open above the Monarchs' world, its radiant energy blinding, like a second sun descending upon the battlefield.
From it, Nine divine figures emerged, each radiating an immeasurable aura of celestial power. Their mere presence distorted space, warping reality itself as they floated above the ruined battlefield.
The Rulers had arrived.
Matt, still seated on Antares' throne, slowly opened his eyes. He had felt them coming long before they even stepped through the portal.
He smirked. "Took you long enough."
The strongest of them, the Brightest Fragment of Luminosity, hovered at the front, his golden light burning like a miniature star. His eyes, filled with divine authority, locked onto Matt.
"You have gone too far, King of Humans," he declared, his voice resonating like a divine judgment. "You were never meant to exist. We will erase you before you become something beyond our control."
Matt slowly stood up from Antares' throne, rolling his shoulders. "Yeah, yeah… I've heard that before." He smirked. "But I'll give you one thing—at least you guys didn't send a messenger this time."
The other Monarchs, now standing behind Matt—Tarnak, Yogumunt, Silad, and Qursha—tensed up, their eyes darting between the Rulers.
"Master," Silad spoke, his usually calm voice now serious. "These are not like the Monarchs. They wield divine power, something entirely different from what you faced before."
Tarnak clenched his fists. "They're already stronger than us… and they outnumber you nine to one."
Quresha smirked. "Yet they still look afraid."
The Rulers remained silent, but their stances showed their resolve.
Matt grinned, stepping forward as golden time energy swirled around his body. The weight of existence itself trembled under his aura.
"Nine against one?" Matt scoffed. "You should've brought more."
BOOM!!!
Matt vanished.
A split second later, he reappeared in front of the Brightest Fragment, his golden sword already swinging down.
The Ruler barely reacted, raising his hand in time—BOOOOOOOM!!!
A shockwave of divine and time energy exploded outward, shattering the ground beneath them.
The battle for supremacy had begun.
Before the dust could settle, another Ruler, the Absolute Speed, shot forward, his movements transcending time itself.
He aimed a spear of pure light directly at Matt's heart—but Matt moved at the exact same speed.
Their weapons clashed midair, creating a fracture in time itself.
Chronos Breaker—Absolute Cut.
Matt's blade bent reality, slicing through the spear as if it never existed.
The Absolute Speed gasped, barely dodging as his weapon erased itself from existence.
"What… kind of power is this?!"
BOOOOM!!!
Matt kicked him in the chest, sending him flying across the battlefield.
But before Matt could press the attack, the Ruler of Strength came crashing down with a golden fist, aiming to obliterate him with pure divine might.
Matt barely raised his arm in time to block—
CRASH!!!
The impact shattered mountains, creating a crater so deep it reached the planet's core.
Yet, when the dust cleared, Matt was still standing.
He grinned. "Not bad. But I expected more from so-called gods."
The Brightest Fragment's eyes narrowed as he raised his hand.
"Enough games."
The sky cracked open, and from it, a divine golden blade descended—a weapon infused with the power of the Absolute Being himself.
Matt's golden eyes flickered.
Now we're talking.
He raised his sword, and the final battle truly began.
BOOOOOOM!!!
The golden divine blade descended like a judgment from the heavens, its sheer presence bending reality itself. The sky cracked, time distorted, and the very concept of existence trembled beneath its weight.
Matt stood his ground, his golden time energy swirling around him like a storm, eyes locked onto the weapon that threatened to erase him from existence.
As the blade neared him, Matt's smirk widened.
"Let's see if you can handle this."
With a single motion, Matt raised his sword, and the very concept of "cause and effect" collapsed.
Chronos Severing—Absolute Cut!
A golden arc of time energy shot forward, slicing through space itself, meeting the divine blade in a clash that shattered the heavens.
BOOOOOOOOM!!!
A blinding gold-and-white explosion erupted, engulfing the battlefield. The shockwave alone erased mountains, split the earth, and forced the other Rulers back.
The Brightest Fragment staggered midair, his divine blade flickering, its once unstoppable aura now unstable.
"Impossible!" he roared, eyes filled with shock. "That blade holds the power of the Absolute Being! How can a mere human match it?!"
Matt grinned. "I told you…"
His golden sword pulsed, growing even stronger, time itself bowing before its presence.
"Nine against one? You should've brought more."
