It had been over six months since Max started living inside the Titan Facility.
Over that time, he had expanded the Titan forces and recovered AI cores from across the continent. Now, there were no more AI left to acquire—except for a Gaia kernel that he had intentionally left for the people of Far Zenith and Aloy.
Max had discovered Aloy months ago and had been secretly tracking her progress by hacking into her Focus without her knowledge.
It felt like watching a movie, observing her journey unfold in real time.
"Soon, I will get Hades too," Max mumbled as he watched her through Heart's interface.
"What do you think?" he asked.
"She is like Elisabet Sobeck from my database—brave and focused on her work," Heart responded.
Max had found over 16 smaller AI cores and fused them into Heart, significantly increasing its computational capability. This led him to convert the remaining Gaia kernel into his own version, allowing him to integrate various subsystems of Gaia into Heart with ease.
Now, Heart could not only manage AI functions but also act as a terraforming system, shaping the environment as needed.
"Well, the tour of this world was short, but enlightening," Max mumbled as he leaned back, letting Heart handle things.
All other subordinate AI cores had been taken by him, including Hephaestus. Now, the only remaining one was Hades, which was somehow hiding from Heart's detection, but Max knowing the game scripts, is now just waiting. Sooner or later, Hades would fight Aloy, and when that happened, Max would capture him—while leaving behind a perfect Gaia copy to ensure that this world could be restored.
With Gaia now a subsystem of Heart, it meant that she would be far deadlier than before.
"Though, beyond that… I also want Nemesis," Max muttered.
In the third part of this game's timeline, Nemesis was the ultimate villain AI—a digital consciousness formed from the minds of the Far Zenith humans who, unsatisfied with mere physical immortality, transferred themselves into digital form. But over time, they went mad, their collective consciousness merging into a singular, vengeful entity—Nemesis.
A hyper-powerful AI, Nemesis had one goal—to eradicate all life.
"Though that would probably take time," Max mumbled as he went back to developing the Virtual Reality game with Heart's help in the meantime.
After returning to Marvel, he was now planning to open his own company with VR game as the main project. And given his knowledge and advancements, it was bound to be successful—especially since it would be in a wide-open world where users could experience true immersion.
Max smirked as he watched the code compile on the massive server cluster he had set up inside the Titan facility.
With Heart's advanced AI processing power, the game's framework was progressing at an insane pace. Unlike the VR games of the past, which relied on clunky headsets and limited interactions, Max was designing something revolutionary—a full-dive VR experience.
"Heart, how's the neural link interface coming along?" Max asked, leaning back in his chair.
[Neural link prototype is at 87% optimization. Estimated full completion in two weeks.]
Max nodded. "Good. We're not just making a game. We're creating a second reality."
This wasn't just about entertainment—it was about control. If he could perfect this technology, he could shape an entire digital world, a place where people could live, fight, and evolve. And with the AI cores he had collected, his system would be leagues ahead of anything humanity had ever built.
"Soon, this world will know what true immersion feels like," Max murmured, his eyes gleaming with ambition.
Max spent the next few days fine-tuning the game's core systems. With Heart's ever-expanding AI capabilities, they managed to create hyper-realistic physics, fully adaptable environments, and AI-driven NPCs that could evolve based on player interactions.
But this wasn't just a game.
"Heart, implement the subconscious learning module," Max ordered.
[Initializing...]
He wasn't going to build a structured story. Instead, he would let Heart create a few NPCs, then release them into an expansive, procedurally generated world—a vast, living environment where they would move, interact, and evolve as if they were real humans.
A total magical world filled with Mana that has developed the world to unimaginable degree, and now only they are the only humans that are alive in this world.
"I wonder what kind of society they will create," Max mumbled as Heart started the simulation.
To ensure realism, he had seeded the world's foundations—but from this point onward, the AI would shape the world organically based on the systems they had built.
[Simulation Data Successfully Integrated.]
[Do you wish to enable the time dilation module?]
Max nodded. "Set it to the maximum range."
[Setting Time Dilation to 1:1000. Initializing...]
[Time dilation set. The world is now under Simulation Mode.] Heart confirmed.
Max nodded in satisfaction. "I'll check on this world after securing Hades. For now, let's focus on developing the full-immersion VR capsules."
With that, he turned his attention to the next phase—bringing virtual reality to its absolute peak.
Max spent the next few weeks refining the VR capsules, ensuring they would provide seamless immersion. With Heart's ever-growing capabilities, they had managed to develop a direct neural link system, allowing for full sensory immersion without any external devices.
During this time, he had also been monitoring Aloy's progress.
She was getting closer to Hades.
Max had already hacked her Focus, allowing him to watch everything she saw without her knowing. It was like watching a live documentary—Aloy overcoming trials, meeting allies, and slowly uncovering the truth of the old world.
"Heart, keep monitoring Aloy. The moment she finds Hades, notify me immediately."
[Understood, Master.]
Max nodded as he looked at the chip in his hand " I wonder in whose hands you will end up" he said as he tossed the chip that contains the full data on how to built an Virtual reality game into the space through the rocket.
"System, reincarnate a small part of me and sent it to this world where the chip will land, also attack a player system with it too" Max said as his system replied.
[ Do you intend to keep the memory of your lives? ] his system asked as he shook his head, " No, just send it and create a system to help it too" he said as the system nodded.
[ 134,000 Up has been deducted and a small part of your soul has been reincarnated in a New World ]
