It was the type of footfall that could only be fashioned by a digitigradous creature, a hefty large one to be exact.
Ikem felt a cold shiver race down his spine as he meticulously tucked his body closely into the boulders circumference. Trying his best not to let any sound out, nor leave any parts exposed.
Once again, each second became a grueling ordeal to go through.
He was almost certain that the creature approaching would find him; it was an odd premonition, formed through his own thoughts in a combination with the Chi's sudden suggestion:

Run not Hide, the Chi knew that Ikem could not face whatever was coming; how could he when he had no knowledge of his Supernatural, and had no idea how to use it for two basic functions.
