After a long look at the suspect, the Captain closed the door shut behind, before turning to face Detective Darwin. "He has things which we need to know, Information which is beyond our understanding."
Darwin nodded, "... Yes, he sure do know." A cigarette he brought into his mouth before adding, "... Captain, I have seen the look in his eyes, and he's more of someone who is from a different timeline than ours..."
A half smile formed on the Captain's lips, before he said, "... So now it's conspiracy theories—?"
"Yes." The single-word response caught the Captain off guard.
"Huh?..." It wasn't what the Captain expected to hear, and, with the seriousness attached, it seemed more like a new case in hand. He cleared his throat before changing the topic, asking another question, "... The victim... Rumors said he was killed in an unexpected way..."
