He turned to Rosemary again, "You all set?"
"Yeah." Rosemary didn't blame him - he was busy after all, and being busy was a good thing.
"No worries, you don't have to be on schedule when you come to visit us. It's not like you're clocking in at work." Kenneth laughed as he looked at his son-in-law, the more he looked at him, the more satisfied he was. "Please have a seat."
Romeo walked up to Jennifer, "Mom, come and sit with Dad."
"You men sit together, and we women will sit together." Jennifer held Rosemary's hand tightly, seemingly reluctant to give up her spot.
Romeo looked at their closely held hands, "If you sit so close, Rose might feel uncomfortable."
"Who says that? We've been shopping and strolling arm in arm lately."
Romeo was speechless.
"It's okay, the couch is spacious. You can sit here." It was Rosemary who spoke up.
Romeo's eyes instantly lit up, as if to say "My fiancée loves me more."
