Out crawled the undead, their rotting forms silhouetted against the faint light, low growls reverberating as they advanced with jerky, unnatural movements.
Astrid and Yuna recoiled, their hands clamping over their ears as they slid to the floor beside the bed. The growing cacophony outside was a dissonant symphony of death, each scratch and growl a chilling reminder of their peril.
