Chapter 352 - Tobirama’s Fault!

Compared to others who were terrified, Tobirama was actually quite pleased.

The Bijuu performed their tasks excellently, and their shots were quite accurate!

Now it was up to him.

In front of millions of people in the Daimyo's Prefecture, Tobirama still had to put on a dazzling performance. He had to deflect at least five Bijudama and not miss a single one!

If he did nothing, all six Bijudama would strike simultaneously.

It would be hard to explain to his brother later!

*SWOOSH!* *SWOOSH!* *SWOOSH!*

*SWOOSH!* *SWOOSH!* *SWOOSH!*

Tobirama fired six kunai with barrier tags and embedded them around the Imperial Palace to form a large Flying Thunder God Barrier.

He prepared to leave a gap so the Bijudama could be inadvertently directed.

But just at that moment, a familiar voice suddenly sounded behind Tobirama.

"Tobirama, I'm back!"

His brother's voice, once warm and familiar, now sounded like the vengeful cry of a ghost. It scared Tobirama so much that his heart trembled and his hair stood on end.

This sudden fear also caused his hands to shake violently.

Even the seal used to erect the barrier shifted slightly, creating more gaps in the space-time barrier around them.

As a result, out of the six Bijudama, only four were successfully blocked and redirected.

Two more broke through the barrier and continued flying toward the main part of the loft.

"Damn it!!"

Hashirama, who was battle-trained, reacted very quickly and sensed the approaching danger in an instant.

Without bothering to ask Tobirama, he immediately clapped his hands and activated his Wood Release defense.

The wooden loft was the best material for activating Wood Release. In an instant, a large number of Wood Release vines appeared and entwined the entire loft, forming a thick layer of Wood Release defense.

*BOOM!* *BOOM!*

Two Bijudama hit the loft, causing a terrifying explosion.

It instantly engulfed the surrounding area several hundred meters wide, causing the entire Daimyo's palace to shatter into pieces.

Fortunately, these were only mini Bijudama, and their range was not extensive.

If the Kyuubi had unleashed an extra-large Bijudama, it could have vaporized half of the Daimyo's Prefecture!

The explosion lasted for more than ten seconds before gradually subsiding.

Looking around, even with the Wood Release protection, most of the loft was destroyed by the explosion, and the scene was devastating and tragic.

If it weren't for the Wood Release, the entire loft would have vaporized on the spot, just like the other buildings around it.

It wasn't that Hashirama couldn't deflect the two mini Bijudama, but the time was too short.

The defense between warehouses was naturally very different.

Otherwise, even if it were Madara's Bijudama, Hashirama would have been able to block it completely!

Fortunately, the upper floor of the loft where Hashirama, Tobirama, and the Daimyo were located was much better protected under Hashirama's ranking technique.

However, the dozens of noble officials present were all ordinary people.

Although Hashirama had used Wood Release to block most of the explosion's force, a large shockwave still came and couldn't be completely avoided.

Ninjas, with their chakra naturally protecting their bodies, were not afraid.

But these ordinary nobles were not so lucky. More than a dozen of them had their internal organs shattered by the air pressure and died instantly. The rest, including the Daimyo, were also not in good shape, as they were all injured to varying degrees.

Seeing the chaos and sorrow spreading at the scene, Hashirama's face turned pale.

He immediately created several wood clones and began rescuing the Daimyo and others.

This was also due to Hashirama's personality. Even if the person was ordinary, he would take the initiative to heal them as long as he could.

After all, Hashirama had not liked Tobirama's plan from the beginning, considering it somewhat too evil.

Now he never expected such a serious accident to occur!

He only wanted to get more construction funds for the village, not to kill the nobles and high officials of the Land of Fire!

He had clearly warned the Kyuubi and the others, so why did they use a killing move like Bijudama?

Hashirama's real body suddenly turned and glared at Tobirama standing beside him.

"Tobirama! What happened? Didn't I tell you not to let..."

Tobirama's heart began to panic. In this vast world, only his older brother could make Tobirama so anxious and nervous.

So Tobirama quickly explained:

"Brother, it was an accident! Who told you to come back so suddenly? You scared me! Otherwise, I could have made a perfect barrier and redirected all the Bijudama!"

Hashirama frowned. Did that mean it was really his fault?

Did he really scare Tobirama and cause him to make a mistake?

The key issue was clearly why the Kyuubi and the others launched Bijudama at the Daimyo's Palace!

Where did they get the courage?

Could it be that the Kyuubi was itching for another beating?

"Is that so?" Hashirama asked doubtfully.

"Yes, yes, yes! The Bijuu must have acted on their own! Especially the Kyuubi. After you left, it became very arrogant."

"I was helpless against nine Bijuu alone! Brother, please believe me!"

Tobirama ruthlessly blamed the Bijuu. After all, the Bijuu had thick skin and flesh and were definitely stronger than him.

If he made them suffer a little, he could completely escape blame!

"So that's how it is, these wild beasts are indeed too dangerous! How dare they seek death? I'll teach them a lesson right now!"

Hashirama was filled with anger.

He was different from Naruto and had a certain idea of "human supremacy."

Compared to Naruto's view of the Bijuu as humanoid individuals and close friends, he preferred to consider the Bijuu as monsters with dangerous power, and of course, he did not trust the Bijuu.

After saying that, Hashirama prepared to immediately set out to teach the "arrogant" Bijuu outside the city a lesson.

"Wait!"

Tobirama was very anxious and immediately called out to his older brother.

If he let his brother go out and beat up the Kyuubi, wouldn't everything be exposed?

NO!

He had to make the Kyuubi keep its mouth shut and not get caught! Otherwise, he was afraid his brother would hang him up and beat him when they got back!

"Brother, please save the Daimyo and the others first! I'll lure the Bijuu away!"

After saying that, Tobirama was eager to leave immediately to gather his testimony with the Kyuubi.

But Hashirama waved his hand and stopped him in his tracks.

"My wood clones are enough here. Since the Bijuu intend to seize power, it might not be safe for you to go. You'd better stay here and not move. Let me go meet the Bijuu outside the city!"

Hashirama had a determined expression on his face; he certainly wouldn't let his younger brother Tobirama take the risk alone. After all, in his eyes at this moment, the nine Bijuu out there were half-enemies.

Tobirama forced a bitter smile and tried to argue:

"Brother, I..."

"Do you want to come with me? That's not impossible."

"Forget it, brother, I'll just stay here. I hope you can return victorious and teach those evil Bijuu a lesson!"

"Okay! Watch me!"

Hashirama smiled broadly, leaped high, and quickly headed toward the Bijuu outside the city.

Only Tobirama felt uneasy and guilty, considering whether to use the Flying Thunder God to escape.

But where could he run?

Should he ask the evil Uchiha Madara for help?

Tobirama swore that even if he were beaten to death by his older brother, he would never surrender to that evil Uchiha!
