Mega Man descended slowly as his pristine white and gold super suit shimmered under the glorious sun.
His heavy boots landed on the cracked pavement with an authority that sent shudders through the ground.
The entire city had fallen into eerie silence — save for the distant sound of cars screeching away, the desperate escape of those who understood the meaning of his arrival.
No one wanted to be collateral. No one wanted to die.
Scott stood his ground. His fists clenched so tightly his knuckles turned white. His heart hammered in his chest, but fear wasn't in his blood.
"You must be real proud of yourself…"
Scott scoffed as he boldly raised his fists toward the towering figure before him.
"You show up in those tights and people run like hell. That's your reputation? That's the legacy you built?"
His voice dripped with venom.
"Shouldn't that disgust you?"
